INTRODUCTION

1.1 BACKGROUND

The interaction between the nurse and midwifes the client during a skin care will give
nurses the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with clients .

Health personnel especially midwives and nurses working with clients who need assistance
personal hygiene or hygiene must learn the appropriate techniques

Changing loom ( bad making) or better known as bed-making is part of personal hygiene
because the beds were clean and tidy provide security and comfort to improve the welfare of the
patient . How to care for maintaining the health of human beings they called personal hygiene .
How to self-care becomes complicated due to the physical condition or emotional state of the
client .

Maintenance of personal hygiene required for individual comfort , safety and health . As in
healthy people meet their own health needs , the physical challenge of the sick or need the help
of a nurse to perform routine medical practice . In addition , a variety of personal and socio-
cultural factors influencing client hygiene practices . The nurse determines the client’s ability to
perform self perawaan and provide hygiene care according to client’s needs and preferences .

1.2 PROBLEM FORMULATION

Based on the above , the problem can be formulated as follows :

2 . What are the Equipment and Supplies Verbedent ?

3 . How Verbedent steps without patients on it ?

1.3 PURPOSE OF WRITING

The expected goals in writing this paper is based on the formulation mater above areas
follows:

1 . In order to understand the definition Verbedent .

2 . In order to determine what equipment and supplies are to be prepared .

3 . In order to determine the steps Verbedent with the patient on it .

4 . In order to determine the steps Verbedent without patient thereon .

5 . In order to know the things that must be considered for safety .

 CHAPTER II

THEORY

2.1 PREPARING A BED

Definition

An act of environmental hygiene in preparing nursing beds for clients or up the bed with
all the equipment to be ready-made for the patient

Goal

1. To provide an environmentthat isclean, quietandcomfortable

2. To get rid ofthingsthatcanirritate the skinby creatinga toolbed& beddingfree ofdirt/folds

3. Toimproveself-imageandself-worthclientstocreatea bedthat is clean,neatandcomfortable

4. To controlmicroorganisms

Purpose

1. Providea sense of comfort

2. Avoidskininfections

3. Performed At The Time :

4. will receive a new patient

5. after the patient’s home or dies

6. after a big cleanup in accordance with a predetermined schedule

Materials

1. Bedcase, mattress and pillow

2. Largebed linen

3. Smallbed linen

4. Perlak

5. Blankets

6. Pillowcase

Preparation Of Patients :

if the bed is being used by the patient, the patient was given an explanation about the
things that will be done

Procedure :

1. Washing hands

2. Communication

3. flattened mattress

4. Large bed linen fitted with the following provisions:

The center line of the pleats should beright in the middle of the mattress

The top of the flat sheet is inserted under the mattress at least 30 cm, as well as at the foot
of the bed linen. after being drawn as tense as possible.

At the end of each side of the mattress is made angles as high as 90. The entire edge of a
large sheet under the mattress put neatlyandtense.

Perlak mounted at least 30 cm from the side of the bed head.

Small bed linen mounted flat on perlak administered together with each side under the
mattress tense perlak possible.

Four folded blankets in reverse and mounted on the footbed, while the upper part is
inserted up side down into the mattress.
 Sheath with afitted cushion angle canceled completely inserted into the corners of the
sheath pillow cases part not facing the door.

2.2 SAFETY PROCEDURES :

Adhere to procedures work

Consider the general state of the client for his bed unmade

2.3 PATIENTS WITH VERBEDENT THERE ON

Inform and explain to the patient that would unmade bed

Setting up the tool is ergonomically

Washing hands with soap and water, drying with a clean towel

Invite and set the position of the patient to tilt back to the midwife

Taking a blanket and pillow patients

Removing perlak , steklaken , laken / bed linen from a client that is close to the midwife
and rolling it towards the client’s body

Installing a clean sheet in the section close to the center line crease midwife right middle
mattress

Incorporating the head down bed sheets

Entering the bottom of the foot bed linen

Folding sheets at the corners of the bed to form an angle of 45 degrees

Insert sheets close to the side of the mattress to the bottom midwife

Installing perlak in the middle of the bed close to the midwife

Installing steklaken perlak above in the section close to the midwife

Entering the perlak and steklaken side near the bottom mattress midwife

Invite and help the patient to tilt towards the midwife

Take bed linen , steklaken , perlak of bed and put the place dirty looms
Attractive bed linen , steklaken , clean perlak kesisi patients away from midwives

Install the pillowcase and put down the head of the client

Fold the blanket into 4 parts in reverse

Entering the top folds down mattress

Replacing blankets to patients

clean up tool

Washing hands with soap and water, drying with a clean towel and dry.

CLOSING

3.1 CONCLUSION

Setting up a bed / verbedent intended to provide comfort , neatness and cleanliness of the
patient . This action can be performed without the patient in bed or with the patient in bed .

3.2 ADVICE

As health workers , particularly midwives , we have to really know and understand about
Preparing Beds ( Verbedent ) for Patients ( Clients ) . Because we will be dealing with a patient
( client ) in the inpatient hospital or in the maternity hospital .

In this case the health workers, especially midwives should know , understand , and learn
more on Preparing Beds ( Verbedent ) for Patients ( Clients ) that occurs in pregnant women
when things are not desirable and requires the patient ( client ) in the inpatient hospital or in our
maternity hospital as a midwife in particular Medicals , capable of satisfying the patient ( client )
in his ministry which in this case is Verbedent.
