1 Version Requirements

1.1 Upgrade environmental requirements

For mobile phones software, you need to use MICRO SD card upgrade.

1.2 Upgrade Documents List

2 Upgrade preparation

2.1 Check whether the upgrade environment meet the requirements

Check whether the MICRO SD card can read and write.

2.2 Get / Check upgrade package

The directory structure is the same:

dload\update.zip

3 Upgrade Instructions

There are two ways to upgrade: Mandatory upgrade and Normal upgrade.

Mandatory upgrade because no power, Therefore suitable for use under can not normal

boot (including not booting, Unable to enter the standby interface, etc.).

4 Upgrade operations

4.1 Normal upgrade (Preferred upgrade method)

Step 1: Prepare an SD card, Recommend using Sandisk, Kingstone, or Kingmax,

Recommended size more than 2G.

Step 2: Format the SD card (optional, not required).

Step 3: Under the SD card root directory create a new folder, named dload, Copy the package

which is named update.zip to the Catalog which name is “dload” of the SD card.If the package

name isn’t update.zip, rename it.

Step 4:Check dload folder whether there is update.zip under the SD card root directory.

Step 5:Insert the SD card into the handset and power on(Built in card phone upgrade

does not require this step), enter the Settings -> Updater -> Menu -> Local update to

start the upgrade. If you need to backup data, please select the backup. Then,start to

upgrade.

Step 6:the upgrade process have a progress bar shows , After the progress bar complete,

Mobile phone automatically restart.

4.2 Mandatory upgrade

Step 1: Prepare an SD card, Recommend using Sandisk, Kingstone, or Kingmax,

Recommended size more than 2G.

Step 2: Format the SD card (optional, not required).

Step3: Under the SD card root directory create a new folder, named dload, Copy the package

which is named update.zip to the Catalog which name is “dload” of the SD card.

Step 4:Check dload folder whether there is update.zip under the SD card root directory.

Step5: The phone in the shutdown state, insert the SD card, while pressing the volume on button +

volume down + the switch button, the phone automatically enter the upgrade mode, and then start

to upgrade. As graph:

Step 6: After the progress bar complete and does not move, the phone will automatically

restart when the progress is not complete does not shut down and perform other

operations).

Note: if you read the file or upgrade anomaly, will enter the Recovery Mode interface (or at the

same time press the volume up + switch button), press the volume down button to move the

cursor to the apply update from sdcard,then press power button, enter the select upgrade

package interface. Press the volume down button to select update.zip,press the power

button ,then start upgrade, after the upgrade is complete shows Install from sdcard

complete interface ,then select reboot system now,press the power button to restart the

phone, after the restart, the upgrade is complete .

5 Upgrade verification

5.1 Version check

After boot up enter Settings -> About phone -> Build number, or Updater -> Current

version, as reference:

5.2 Basic function traversal

Boot up normally,enter the standby interface,enter the number and be able to dial the

phone, long press Power button to shut down, power-down Normally.

To ensure that the battery fully charged during the upgrade process, recommend during

the upgrade process the phone is connected to the charger or USB data cable supply

power

6.2 note 2

The upgrade process will erase user data, if there is an important content, it is

recommended to do a backup before upgrading. .
