1. BOOKINGS
Within Legend Bookings, you are now able to configure classes so that certain class attendees on specified
agreements are not subject to any cancellation or non-attendance fees.
2. MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT
It is now possible to mark refund records as processed externally (to the Legend System). This is done in the
payment tab of Membership Management.
There will then be a record of this payment (including the fact that it is external) in the journal.
To turn this setting on, within the DB navigate to the “Configuration” table and turn on “Settingname” =
“AccountingJournal_SystemChecks”.
2.2. VSO #75325 SECURITY TOKEN FOR APPLYING PAYMENT TO EXTERNAL REFUNDS
The ability to apply a payment to an externally processed refund is restricted by a new security token:
MM_CAN_APPLYPAYMENT_REFUNDS_EXTERNALPAYMENT.
This token must be enabled for payments to be applied to refunds selected as “External Payment”, as described
in the item above.
When using referral credits to pay for a membership it will now correctly reduce the tax liability.
3. REPORTS
Now when using the Online Reporting Site, when logging in, your password will not automatically save in your
browser. This is to improve security.
On the homepage of the Online Reporting Site, the actual local server time will now be displayed.
It will be shown on the bottom right of the page and should look like the following:
Now when you create a Dashboard Group or a Custom Report group, there is a new option that reads "Don't
Show When Browsing If Empty". This will be in the form of a checkbox.
When set, the item selected will not appear on the browse list if the group is empty.
3.4. VSO #73930 CACHE ISSUES WITH REPORTS CONFIG SITE IN INTERNET EXPLORER
Previously there was a cache issue in the Reports Configuration Site whilst using Internet Explorer.
Now, the above issue has been resolved so that the page will now update when the import runs, when new
imports are added, when the imports are removed, etc. (Previous versions did not update).
4. CONTROL PANEL
4.1. VSO #73850 CHANGING START AND END DATES FOR PIF SERVICES #328801
Paid in Full services can now use start and end dates over monthly duration. These along with the fees, can now
be overridden by enabling the desired settings and having the corresponding security tokens. To have the
settings enabled, please contact Legend Support and let them know which settings from the below you would
like enabled.
Contact Services Enable Start Date Change – allows the services start date to be changed, you’ll need to
specify what Start Date advance limit you would like to set, in days. i.e. 8 days
Contact Services Enable End Date Change – allows the end date to be changed for PIF services
Contact Services Enable End Date Change (DD) - allows the end date to be changed for DD services
Contact Services Enable Fee Change – allows fees to be overridden
If the user doesn’t have the correct security token, they will be required to have someone with the appropriate
credentials to authorise the override. When the fees or dates are overridden, there will be an event raised on
the member’s account stating that changes that have been made.
When creating a service option in Control Panel, the following options will now be visible.
No Override - This is the standard way, where the length and days are used
Start Date Override - This is where the start date defaults to a date either in the future or today, and
then the length is applied to that.
End Date Override - This is where the end date defaults to a date. This can also be overridden in FOH.
Date Override - This is an overridden start and end date.
The fixed versions do not allow start and end date overrides that are set to specific dates.
In Control Panel > Global Account Integration there is the setting ‘Defer Recurring Membership Revenue’ which
will need to be enabled before you can choose which agreements have this functionality. Once this is ticked, you
will see that in Control Panel > Agreement Management > Agreement > Pricing > Fees > Defer Revenue tick box
is now available to be selected. Without the global setting ticked, it will be greyed out. This also applies to the
Defer Revenue option in the Member Services general tab (within the selected service option), it will be greyed
out unless the global option is ticked.
5. ACM
Gates can now be configured to register a 'duplicate' swipe when a customer swipes on that gate in X
(configurable) amount of time. They will be shown as 'duplicates' in reports instead of a second swipe.
This is configured against the gate and is specified in minutes. 0 minutes means the feature will not be
applicable and the swipes will be recorded and reported as a second swipe.
6. PRICE MANAGEMENT
As an external service you are now able to show promotions which are configured for the channel you select, so
that you can provide channel specific promotions.
To configure this:
Now assign at least 1 agreement (to the channel). Choose an agreement that is NOT part of any other discount
scheme.
Control Panel -> Agreement Management -> Choose Agreement -> Channels tab
The channel you created should be shown, highlight it and click assign. The price types under the agreement will
inherit this assignment.
Now you need to create a new discount scheme and promotion to assign to the channel.
Price Management -> New Discount Scheme
7. ONLINE SERVICES
Membership renewal has now been made responsive. No functionality has been changed.
You will require a responsive theme and the responsive Membership setting enabled to use this functionality.

7.2. VSO #69377 & 70568 COUNTDOWN & ENTITLEMENT VOUCHERS WORK FOR
RESPONSIVE CLASS BOOKINGS
Countdown & entitlement vouchers are now supported for responsive booking pages. No functionally has
changed.
7.3. VSO #69740 PREVENT CHANGE MEMBERSHIP & RENEWALS IN UNIVERSAL BASKET WITH
OTHER PURCHASES
When a member purchases a membership renewal or changes their membership in the universal basket, they
cannot add any other items to the basket until the transaction has been completed.
In responsive bookings your customers can now view how many classes they are on the waiting list for.
To view this the member can look at the View Bookings page where there is a link to the Waiting List page.
Please note that the wording for the “Click here to view waiting list” link is not currently configurable. This will
be coming in a future release.
When a member is online they are now able to see the expiry date of their voucher. This will help the member
to decide what voucher is to be used first to avoid missing their chance.
While a member is ‘pending cancellation’ i.e. their direct debit has stopped and they’re leaving the leisure
centre it is now possible for the Sports Course operator to immediately cancel them from the class to free up
space.
7.8. VSO #46926 PROMO CODES FOR SPORTS HALL IN THE UNIVERSAL BASKET
When applying promo codes online you can enter a promotional code which will be applied to all current basket
items.
Furthermore, there is an ‘i’ icon which gives information on the promo code that the member/employee may
find useful.
Finally, the employee will find it simple to remove promotional codes in order to amend any errors/customers
changing their minds.
7.9. VSO #69676 ENTITLEMENT VOUCHERS FOR SPORTS HALL BOOKINGS IN THE UNIVERSAL
BASKET
When an employee is booking a member onto a sports course they can click ‘i’ to view what type of voucher it is.
In addition, when a user has an entitlement voucher the employee will be notified and any other applicable
errors are shown on screen.
Also, after using a voucher a confirmation email will be sent to the member.
When a member has signed in online, the user interface will now correspond to their agreement and what they
are able to book. For example, if they cannot book online then they will not see the option on screen.
7.11. VSO #68143 LOYALTY (COUNTDOWN) VOUCHERS FOR SPORTS HALL IN THE UNIVERSAL
BASKET
If a member is online seeking to book, they will have their vouchers displayed clearly in the user interface. If the
voucher is used, it will be recorded accordingly showing in any billing/payment records.
On the Single Sign on home page there is now a” Register” option so prospective members can join your facility.
Please note the registration process is only available on mobile devices.
Once the registration is complete the member will be redirected to the specified URL. If you wish to change this,
please contact Legend Support.
8.2. VSO #74291 LOGIN VIEW REDIRECT IN REGISTRATION PAGE
After registration is complete using SSO, the member will receive an email asking them to confirm their email
address and enter a password. Once complete the member will be directed back to SSO.
8.3. VSO #75158 SSO CALL-BACK WHITELIST CAN SUPPORT MULTIPLE URLS
We can now support multiple call-back URLS. Please contact Legend Support to add multiple URLS.
8.4. VSO #69509 WHEN LOGGED IN TO AN APP I CAN OPEN ONLINE SERVICES WHILST
LOGGED ON
When you have an active Single Sign On token you can navigate to Online Services and be automatically logged
in.
As an external service you will now be notified when a member who you have received permissioned data from
historically has unsubscribed from the service.
9. INVOICING
You will now get a cancellation email for events. You can set up different emails for events that are part of a
schedule and events that are not part of a schedule, there are configured in Back Office > Configuration > Email
Template.
In the search options you can now see an option to search an event by the Event Name.
11. SPORTS COURSES
When bulk moving members to a course you can now purchase mandatory extras. Any non mandatory extras
will not show during the move.
11.2. VSO #67687 REFUNDING EXTRAS WHEN BULK MOVING SPORTS COURSES
When bulk moving enrolees, you can now refund any extras they have purchased. You have the option to refund
the whole amount or nothing at all. This will be displayed on screen and in emails.
We have made improvements to the layout when purchasing extras. They are as follows:
Customers will be able to see the price of mandatory extras on the program details page as they are now
included in the standard price. You can still see a full cost breakdown and select other optional extras after you
select the participant(s).
