Towed Sweeper for Trucks

up to 1.2 tonnes of sand, gravel or millings per minute and the high
operating speed of up to 20 km/h

Sweeping unit
Two towed disc brushes with brake-back protection, wear-free direct
drive via hydraulic motor, hydraulic lifting and lowering of disc brushes
incl. manually adjustable brush contact pressure – hydraulic adjust-
ment of brush contact pressure via control panel available as an option;
rear-mounted rotary brush, wear-free direct drive of rotary brush via
hydraulic motor

Collection system
Two side-mounted disc brushes mounted in front of the axle move the
debris to the centre and a rotary brush arranged behind the axle trans-
ports the debris to the generously dimensioned elevator. The contact
pressure of the rotary brush is adjusted manually, quickly and easily.
At the end of the elevator, the debris is taken over by the conveyor belt
and loaded onto the truck’s platform. The conveyor belt powered by
the hydraulic motor is height-adjustable for adaptation to the truck’s
platform. The continuously adjustable conveyor belt speed allows even
spreading of the debris on the truck’s loading platform. To protect it
from dust, the elevator is equipped with an aluminium guard.
Water system
Water tank made of steel, directly integrated in the vehicle’s base
frame, total water tank capacity of 1,150 l; hydraulically operated di-
aphragm pump with a delivery capacity up to 36 l/min (max. 10 bar)
supplies the water spray nozzles of the sweeping unit

Drive
Oil-air-cooled Deutz TD 2011 L4i turbo diesel engine, EuroMot 3A
(56 kW at 2,600 rpm), adjusted to 52 kW (70 HP) at 2,300 1/min; in-
line-four engine
Hydraulic double gear pump flanged directly the diesel engine; water
pump, rotary brush, side brushes, elevator and conveyor belt as well
as working hydraulics for all actuation movements are powered by the
hydraulic system
