Steps for Configuring the Navigation Links for MyServices or My Team Services Application.

Step -1) In the gateway system, open the Launchpad ( use Tcode: LPD_CUST ) and navigate to
the Launchpad Role and launchpad that you can intend to use. Otherwise, you can modify the
sap delivered ROLE: UIHR001 and INSTANCE: TRANSACTIONAL.

Step-2)

a) Create an own catalog using the Fiori Launchpad designer and create target mappings in the
catalog. The process of creating catalogs & target mappings is available here:

b) Create a catalog for your dummy entries. You may give the catalog any name of your choice.
c) Create a Target Mapping entry in the Fiori Launchpad catalog which you have created in step B.
In the configuration screen of the target mapping, provide the launchpad (in which the entries
for multiple backend system for different Application types will be created) details like
Launchpad Role, Launchpad Instance, Application Alias. In our screenshots we have modified the
standard role & instance (UIHR001/TRANSACTIONAL). You may also create your own Launchpad
role & instance. In case you create your own Launchpad role & instance, use appropriate values
for the parameters below.

Below you can see a sample screenshot of the target mapping in the launchpad designer

Likewise, you can create the target mapping for the “Manager” semantic object as well.
You can now create the target mapping for the application type URL and TRANSACTION that
are corresponding to the Launchpad entries that you have maintained.

Step-3) Create roles in the gateway and assign the newly created catalog to these roles. For help on
