1 Read the instruction manual. Write the letters (A-FD from the diagram next to
the names of the controls.

The diagram shows the controls of an automatic, right-hand drive car. On


the left of the driver's seat is the gear lever (1)-. Press the button

The Gotthard Base Tbnnel


The Gotthard Base Tunnel (GBT) will be the longest railway
tunnel in the world. Engineers are building it now, in Switzerland,
under the Alps. They will finish the project in20l6-2017.

will use the GBT. The tunnel will connect Zuich in Switzerland
with Milan in Italy.
