Derick,

Thank you for the e-mail and for the good words.

The Bourdeaux campaign has committed to participate so, per my explanation e-mail, each
Monday I'll send my questions to you and to her press representative. If I don't receive a reply
from you, I'll publish your refusal e-mail of today. Likewise, if I don't receive a reply from the
Bourdeaux campaign, I'll report that they failed to respond.

Thanks for your continued attention and in the interests of GA7th constituents, I hope you'll
reconsider.

Sincerely,

Peter

Howdy Peter,

I apologize for the delay.  I did indeed get your email.  I appreciate the generous offer
and your zeal to participate in the race.  Unfortunately though, as I consider our
bandwith and your offer, we have to say no thank you.  I wish you the best with your
blog, and if there is the occasional policy matter on which you would like Rob to weigh,
please run it through Martin and he will provide you a piece with Congressman
Woodall's perspective.

Thank you again Peter, and I am glad to see you are doing well,

Derick

Hi Martin,

Just a quick courtesy follow up.

I didn't receive a reply from Derick, so I wasn't sure if his spam filter ate my e-mail (smile). A
few minutes ago I phoned the campaign office at (770)963-2420 and a helpful fellow named
Walker picked up. I explained the situation and forwarded my e-mail to Derick to him. Walker
confirmed receipt and promised to make sure Derick got my e-mail.

Long story short, I'm good to go on Monday and I look forward to providing what I hope will
be a widely-read, informative forum.

Thanks again for your help, have a good weekend, and if I can ever be of assistance, please
don't hesitate to give me a shout.

Cheers, Peter

Hello Derick,

Per the e-mail trail below, Martin Wattenbarger steered me to you. Here's a re-cap of what I
sent Martin this afternoon.

Next week I'm starting a project on my blog to allow Rep. Woodall and his Democrat
challenger Carolyn Bourdeaux what I'm confident will be a lively, productive, and unedited
opportunity for both candidates to address issues of interest to GA7th constituents.

What I propose is that every Monday from September 10 until October 29, I'll submit a
question to you and to the Bourdeaux campaign's press representative with a response
deadline of end of the day the coming Thursday. The next day (Friday) I'll publish the
responses unedited and without comment.

For example, I'll send my first question Monday, September 10. Each campaign will have until
end of the day Thursday, September 13 to respond and I'll publish the responses the next day,
Friday September 14. Re: the order of responses, I'll alternate each week, that is, one week
Rep. Woodall's response would be first, the next week Ms. Bourdeaux's response would be
first.
Full disclosure, I'm a registered Democrat, but I'll be maintaining a completely non-partisan
stance and the questions I submit to the candidates will reflect that. My objective is to provide
both candidates with an unedited, open-ended opportunity to express themselves on
substantive issues that matter to thoughtful citizens. Rest assured I will fiercely avoid political
spin. For example, my first set of questions are verbatim from "Questions For Your
Candidates About Medicaid" in a recent issue of the AARP newsletter.

Further, I hope to attract attention from mainstream news outlets. With that in mind, each
week I plan to send my blog items to mainstream news outlets throughout the district which I
hope will provide additional voters with more information about the candidates.

Finally, I've never opened up my blog for public comments and I won't do so for this project.
However, if I receive thoughtful e-mails -- emphasis on thoughtful -- I may publish those on
my blog separate from the Q&A items or on my Twitter account. Long story short, I will
maintain a fair forum for sound debate on behalf of all GA7 constituents regardless of party
affiliation.

Does this sound workable to you?

Thanks for your time/consideration and I look forward to your reply. Questions? Thoughts?
Please don't hesitate to share.

Sincerely,

Hi Peter,

Per House rules, this request would need to go through the campaign side. You can reach out

Hello Martin,

I just left you an introductory voice message. And here's my blog bio
https://www.blogger.com/profile/09473045928201940808

As I mentioned, Rep. Woodall's and his DC office had been of considerable assistance re: this
$9m nonprofit scam I helped uncover and drove through the press some years ago
http://medfraud.info/SALF-media.html Here's part of that help http://www.the-
sidebar.com/2013/08/rep-rob-woodall-asks-cdc-about.html which eventually resulted in this
2015 WSB investigative report by Jodie Fleischer (based on my research and outreach to the
station) https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/2-investigates-cdc-gave-millions-tax-dollars-
