REMARKS / IMPORTANT FINDINGS

This paper tell corrosion rate on carbon steel on

supercritical CO2 condition between 2 condition
which are with add small amount of water and
added MDA (amine)

The fatigue life of the test material increases

gradually when frequency is below 1Hz but
decreases linearly when it is above 1Hz.

This study aimed to clarify the effects of carbon

alloying elements upon the tensile
and LCF properties of Fe-17Mn-xC (x = 0.5, 0.7,
0.9 wt.%) steels in a hydrogen environment.

To estimate the fatigue life of medium-carbon steel

specimen, the effect of the average
surfaceroughness on the fatigue life
S-N curves and P-S-N curves were established based
on the fatigue tests.
B17It was shown that
there is about 15% decrease of the mean fatigue life
in high stress amplitude (for example, 500 MPa),
while there is about 30% decrease in low stress
amplitude (for example, 380 MPa) when the average
surface roughness increased from 0.4 µm to 0.8 µm
or from 0.8 µm to 1.6 µm.B17
This study was performed to identify the most
probable cause of the pipe failure.

Further damage to the surface of already excessively

reduced thickness occurred due to nominal pipe
vibration and atmospheric effect during service.

Review study based on case study excident in the

north-east part of Pakistan oil n gas utility company.
