recently launched by  Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and

(KVKs) organized a special campaign at  Ambala in Haryana to create
awareness about the ill effects of crop residue burning and
management.

4. President of India inaugurated ‘One District one Product’ Summit


in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is a first of its kind summit in the country
to boost trade of the MSMEs.

5. Chhattisgarh has become the first state in India to provide Right


to Skills’ Development to the youth. The Chattisgarh government has
flagged off 15 Skill Chariots to launch ‘Skills on Wheels’ project in

Ministers (GoM) headed by Union Minister of Commerce and
Industry Suresh Prabhu to decide on 16-member Regional Comprehensive
Economic Partnership (RCEP) negotiations.

7. The Digital North East Vision 2022 was released in Guwahati,


Assam by Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology Ravi
Shankar Prasad. Under Digital North East, Union government will invest
nearly Rs. 10,000 crore in the region over next 4 years to implement
more than 400 projects.

machine called MOPAD. The full form of MOPAD
is  Multi Option Payment Acceptance
Device. It is a Point of Sale (PoS)
terminal  that will allow transactions from
cards to QR code-based payments.

capital markets by providing real-time access to information such as

4. RBI's survey of inward remittances for 2016-17 has stated that the

5.  The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has transferred surplus


(dividend) of Rs. 50,000 crores to Government for the year ended in
June 2018, over 63% more than Rs 30,659 crore which it transferred in
2017.

member development banks of BRICS to undertake “collaborative
research” in distributed ledger/blockchain technology.

1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, launched
