Calibration instruction for scales EVL

Prepare the scale for Calibration:

1. Remove the Lead Seal and open the scale
2. Place the service jumper as show on the picture according to the model of EVL scale:

Scale series F

Scale series M

Scale series T
3. Close the scale and put the four screws (for M and F) 2 screw for T
4. Place the scale on a stable levelled table
5. Connect the power adapter

Calibrating the scale:

6. Switch the scale ON by pressing the button ON/OFF. Wait testing procedure to be finished.
7. Push the button “PRG, until see on the weight indicator :"CALIbr "
8. Press once the button “T”. The scale will switch in calibration mode and you will see text: ''
rAn9E '' on the left display..
9. Enter the maximum of the scale in conformity with the following table:
MAX Number
3 3
6 6
15 15
30 30
3/6 7
6/15 16
6/30 31
15/30 32

Push the button “T” after that for confirmation. Push “PRG” for the next step.
10. On indicator will appear text “unit” – check the middle display for scale with max: 3 kg – must
be 1g, 6 kg – 2 g, 15 kg – 5g, 30kg -10g
11. Push '' PRG '' – on the left indicator will appear text: : ''min'' – for retail purposes scales must be
20, for postal scales – 5.
12. Push several times “PRG” until see text: '' bAtEr ''.
13. Measure the voltage of the battery and enter the result from digital keyboard. Push the button
“T” to memorize. You will hear sound. When the sound stopped push the button “PRG” .
14. On the indicator will appear text: ''HEre-1''. The number on the middle display must be not zero
and equal to the next parameter “there-2”. Push “PRG “.
15. On the left indicator will appear text: ''there-2''. Push “PRG “.
16. On the left indicator will appear text: '' dAc ''.

Important: the scale shows on the bottom indicator the result from the ADC. It must be stable. It is
possible to have instability on the last digit only.

Push once “T” button. You will hear long sound signal. In the middle indicator will be shown text:
''—t—''. Wait until the sound stops.
Push once “PRG”. On the left display will appear text: '' Pt-1 ''. This is the first calibration point. Put
the metal platform on the scale and push “>0<”. You will hear sound. Wait until it stops. For scale
3/6 use 2kg to calibrate the first interval and 4kg for calibrate the second interval. Enter from the
digital keyboard the weight you put in grams. On the middle display appears the number you
entered and on the right display – the result from ADC. Wait until the result on the right display
became stable and push “T” button. You will hear long signal. Wait until it stops and remove the
calibration weight. Press “PRG”. On the display will appear text: '' Pt-2''. This is the second
calibration point. Put on the platform Standard weight = 2/3 from MAX (for 2 interval). Enter from
the digital keyboard the weight you put in grams. On the middle display appears the number you
entered and on the right display – the result from ADC. Wait until the result on the bottom display
became stable and push “T” button. You will hear long signal. Wait until it stops and remove the
test weight.
Push “CP” button and finish the procedure.
17. The scale will reset and switch OFF
18. Once the scale is calibrated test to see if it’s weighing correct.
19. REMOVE the jumper.
20. Put the top box careful on its place and close the scale.
