My name is Kamruzzaman Shipon. I am a Bangladeshi citizen. I am born in 3 April 1997.

I
have four members in my family. They are my parents, my elder brother and me. By occupation, my
father is a businessman. My mother is a house wife. My father has a super shop called Mama
Store. My elder brother is pursuing his bachelor degree in India at AP Goyal Shimla University
with scholarship. He is doing well in his field. My family is well established in my society. Hence
every one respects my father in my area. My grandfather was a Headmaster in a high school in his
time. He died in 1980. My father inherits a large scale of property from my grandparents and he is
trying to get benefited by using then properly. We are busy with our study at present that is why we
cannot stay with our parents at the same it’s not easy to assist my father in his business. All my
financial assistance is given by my father sometimes my mother also helps me with his personal
saving. Though my elder brother got scholarship from India, he has to pay a little to his university
at the same time living cost in India is cheaper than my country.

I have completed my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Panchamighat High School,
Sonargaon, Narayangonj in 2013 having science background and my result is 4.88. It was
published in 09 May, 2013. Afterwards, I have got a chance to get admitted into Bangladesh Air
Force Shaheen College, Kurmitola,Dhaka. I sit for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in 2015
from same group equivalent to 12 level study. This time I have achieved the highest GPA which is 5
in Bangladesh. The result was published in 09 August, 2015. After 2015, I applied for Dhaka
University admission test, twice Medical admission test, Marine engineering admission test,
Bangladesh Air force officer’s exams but there was so limited sit to get admit in these University.
In 2016, I have joined British council for English Intermediate level and got a certificate. Then I
decided for IELTS exam at the same time got admitted into a private university in Bangladesh
called IUBAT- International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, Uttora, Dhaka
which was in 2016 of August 22. Here I have completed 68 credit hours out of 156 credit hours and
my CGPA is ultimately good status and it is 2.97 out of 4 scales. I got my IELTS result in February
2016 for the first time. However, the result was poor. In 2018, April 26 I have sat for another
IELTS exam and got my result on 9th of May. I have got overall 6 with listening 6, Reading 5.5,
Writing5.5 and Speaking 6. Now, I would like to transfer my all credit to an Australian University
to continue me further study to complete my bachelor degree with successfully.

I would prefer Australia over other countries for a number of aspects. The education system
of Australia is world recognized with having QS ranking and it has known by its research
opportunities. The environment of Australia is friendly and similarly to Bangladesh whereas
Canada is the coldest country and I dislike winter and the cold as well. The global condition of
Australia and its population is highly appreciative like its infrustacture, accommodation, nursing
facilities as well as sports friendly country. I would like to go there most probably to meet
Australian cricket team though it’s tough in my country when they have any match. I also like the
nature and travelling where I find Australia give me the best option to explore the nature very
closely. I heard about the University of Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia from one of my
friends who is studding in Bachelor of Nursing in Southern Queensland University. Then I search
through internet and find plethora of information about this University. First It was a university
college opened in 1996 then passed the Australian parliament as a University. The main University
of the Sunshine Coast campus is at Sippy Downs, Queensland. There have also two branches in
Noosa and Fraser Island. Now it has more than 12000 students per semester record by 2015 as the
sunshine coast university act. It earned 5 stars for staff, qualification and graduates. Now it is top
35 ranked universities in Australia, and 501-600 in World University ranking 2018 and 101-150
young university ranking 2018. I prefer this university over other for its academic excellence, for
its location and affordable tuition fee with having a large number of international students. There
have the international student assistance facilities, accommodation facilities, International
community to learn the Australian culture and also to remove home sickness. This university has a
large green campus and I heard Queensland is best option to live at the same time study in
Australia. To compare with my country, we have a plenty of universities even where I am studying
in is a one of the best private University in Bangladesh. The problem I faced to study there is a
number of students gathered in one class. Sometimes, the teachers faced problem to
communicating with students though maximum students are from bangle medium. We do not have
any hostel or accommodation facilities in maximum private university in my country. Hence, many
students have travelled 2,3 hours for their universities. However, the tuition fee is much higher
than other Asian country comparatively less research facilities.

From my childhood, I want to be an Engineer. I always inspired by my maternal uncle who

is now a civil engineer with having diploma degree from Singapore. I hope I have a better career
in this field because the demand of building infrastructure is demanding in my country. Our
government needs much skilled engineer to rebuild my country in 21 centuries. I hope I am
preparing myself with the demand of my skill. My future plan is to build a Real estate Business in
my country. I along with my uncle would like to set our own business rather than doing a job in
particular engineering company. I always love to do according to my own way. I hate others order.
The aim of choosing bachelor of civil engineering is to develop my career with design,
manufacturing and to have practical experience in relative field. I hope I will do my career with
completing this bachelor degree. If I have to choose any particular field to do my career start with
a company then I have to select NAVANA Real Estate Company Bangladesh. It is very popular
company under the big guns engineer in Bangladesh. I would like to have my career with them.

My father name is Md. Mozibur Rahman as I mentioned earlier he is a Business and he runs
his business alone. My father is only person who provide my all academic as well as social needs
financially and mentally with his strong economic condition and life long experience. He has three
shop by same name called Mama super shop. My father has one land deed agreement with a
cement making company for five years period which gives him BDT: 200000 lac per month along
with this he has rent his market to a big gun partner in my locality named Kabir Hossain. It also
earned 100000 BDT per month. My mother is never going for money to my father because she is a
simplified woman with less demand of modern articles. Finally, I hope if everything going well my
father can afford all of my education, accommodation and for all necessary things which I need to
study in Australia. My proposed living arrangements will arrange by my friend Mahrus Islam Ahir
who lives in Brisbane, Queensland and I would prefer to live first few months with my friend and
after getting a comfortable rental place in Sippy down I will move there to continue my classes
from a nearest distance.
