1 Introduction
These Release Notes provide an overview of WebReports Workflow Extensions 16.0, including new
features, delivery information, and supported platforms. OpenText recommends that you read these
Release Notes in conjunction with the documentation included with the software package. If any
conflicts exist, the Release Notes supersede the other documentation.

We also recommend that you check the OpenText Knowledge Center

2 About WebReports Workflow Extensions

This section provides an overview of WebReports Workflow Extensions 16.0.

Simplifies the ability for organizations to roll out applications that allow users to interact with and
create content. It allows knowledge workers to move content in and out of workflows, initiate
workflows, and easily carry out their required tasks without dealing with cumbersome interfaces or
workflow systems.

2.1 New features

WebReports Workflow Extensions 16.0 includes the following new features.

Content Server 16.0 Compatibility

• This initial version of WebReports Workflow Extensions is intended for Content Server 16.0
compatibility.

6 Patches
A patch is a piece of software that is designed to fix or improve a computer program or its supporting
data. These may include repairs to security vulnerabilities or resolution of bugs, and may also improve
usability or performance. On the OpenText Knowledge Center you will find two general types of
patches. Hotfixes are also known as quick-fixes or bug fixes. Updates are also known as service
packs or service releases.

The following patches must be applied to WebReports Workflow Extensions 16.0. OpenText
recommends that you check the OpenText Knowledge Center (https://knowledge.opentext.com/) for
any patches or documentation updates that may have been posted after this release.

6.1 Hotfixes
Hotfixes are small patches that address software issues. Typically, there is no new functionality in a
hotfix. Hotfixes can be cumulative.

Hotfix installation
OpenText recommends that you use the OpenText Cluster Management Patch Deployment System to
keep your Content Server 16 up to date with all the applicable latest patches.

8 Known issues
The following known issues exist in this release.
