Lesson Development
Stage
1. Teacher explains the importance of
appreciating friends to the

(10 minutes) 2. Teacher writes a list of adjectives on
the whiteboard.
 2. Teacher teaches adjectives by
writing simple sentences on the white
board.
3. Students add adjective to the
sentences written on the whiteboard.

Practice 2. Students with the same colour of

3. Students fill in the bubble map

of their pair that they appreciate the
most by using the adjectives.
4. Teacher chooses three students
randomly and instructs them to read
out loud what they have written.

before on the paper.
3. Students paste their song lyric on
the wall of the classroom.
4. Students to walk around the
classroom and vote on their friends’
work.

Conclusion cards for their friend.
(3 minutes)

Extended Activity Teacher instructs the students to paste the song lyric and the appreciation
card that they have created into their exercise book.
