Documentation Report about Waste Management in EVSU Main Campus

1. College of Business and Entrepreneurship (COBE) Building

The above picture was taken outside a room in the COBE building. The
picture shows improper placement of waste. Wastes like these should never be
seen outside a room because as we can observe, sharp metal scraps are present
in the waste thus unwanted accidents are likely to happen.

2. EVSU Canteen
 There is no proper segregation of waste in EVSU canteen. Some
biodegradable waste such as kitchen waste are mixed together with non-
biodegradable waste like plastics and recyclable materials e.g glass bottles and
cardboard papers. Also, some waste are just disposed into the canals.

3. Ongoing Construction of Office of the Research and Development and

Extension (ORDEX) Building

Improper waste disposal occurs in the construction of the new ORDEX

Building. Recyclable Waste such as wood, metal scraps and paint cans that have
been used in the construction are dumped into the side of the alleyway. These
waste may cause danger to the students that are walking in the said alleyway
because accidents are likely to happen.
 4. Ongoing Repair Construction of Graduate School Building

Fortunately, Graduate School Building follows proper waste disposal. No waste

can be seen in the sidewalks and alleyways. And the recyclable materials that has been
used upon the repair construction has been kept into a storage place below the stairs.

5. Student Supreme Government (SSG) Building

Improper waste disposal occurs near the SSG Building. Plastic bottle waste
are thrown into the sidewalks and are mixed with biodegradable materials.
 6. Science Building

Improper waste disposal transpires near Science Building. Residual waste

like plastic chairs and fluorescent bulbs are mixed together with recyclable waste such
as wood and papers.

7. EVSU Field

Improper waste disposal in EVSU Field wherein recyclable, residual and

compostable materials are mixed together and dumped on the side of the field.

8. College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Building

Improper disposal of waste occurs in CAS Building. Waste that is supposed

to be thrown in the residual trash bin like plastic candy wrappers are thrown into
the recyclable bin.
