Major Project (briefly describe): NOHS-FBLA’s major project will be to develop competent business leaders.
This year, we will conduct an array of activities to allow students an opportunity to develop their leadership
skills.

Our regular chapter meetings will be held twice a month. We will
hold officers meetings twice a month.
Regular chapter meetings will meet on Thursday from 7:30-8:15
a.m. AND 11:20-11:50 a.m. Officers meetings will be held, twice a
month, on Thursdays the week before chapter meetings during
Titan Time from 11:20-11:50 a.m.
We will meet in room 2-104 (Dr. Alexander’s classroom) at North
Oconee High School.
45 minutes Chapter Meetings
30 minutes for Officers Meeting
We will use an incentive program where students will be able to
participate in different social activities if a specified number of
meetings have been attended.
We will send email reminders, post announcements to the
website, include in morning announcements via school’s intercom,
push reminders out through social media and text reminders.
FBLA-PBL Goals

1. Develop competent, aggressive business leadership.

2. Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work.
3. Create more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise.
4. Encourage members in the development of individual projects that contribute to the improvement of
home, business, and community.
5. Develop character, prepare for useful citizenship, and foster patriotism.
6. Encourage and practice efficient money management.
7. Encourage scholarship and promote school loyalty.
8. Assist students in the establishment of occupational goals.
9. Facilitate the transition from school to work.
