Titlu Crearea inregistrarilor de autoritate multilingve

Descriere Noi utilizam formatul MARC 21. Avem nevoie sa ne ajutati sa configuram modulul
Catalogare pentru a putea utiliza inregistrari de autoritate multilingve.
Scop: Utilizatorul sa poată căuta înregistrări bibliografice utilizând termeni/subiecte in diferite limbi.
La moment, utilizarea subcampului $$9 - cod de limba - in inregistrarea de autoritate nu este permisa

Dear Irina,

yes, you're right. Because the system will create the link only if the headings are
identical in the BIB and in the AUT record. So we have to add the $$9 subfields to all the
connecting records. (I made an example in BIB record 000136526.)
It can be done automatically by the system, but in this case all AUT record modification
will update all the connecting BIB records, and this change will be valid for every data,
not only for subject fields.
So please discuss it with the representatives of the other libraries of the consortia if I
can set this option in the system or not.

Br,
Anikó

Dear, Anikó In Aleph GUI Browse, searching by subject Obstetrics, the result is: “There
are no records associated with this heading” (see the attached file), also in Aleph
webOPAC, browse search. In Aleph webOPAC Browse index, we can not see now [SUO
Authority Record] for the main heading Акушерство (it disappeared). I tried to do the
same procedures with another subject heading Акушерство практическое, I click on
AUT recheck button in the bibliographic database's browse index, but it does not work –
the English term Midwifery is still not searchable.

Dear Irina,

please check it again in Aleph and in Aleph webOPAC (http://81.180.66.64:8991/F).

If you search for Obstetrics in Aleph GUI you will get 182 results. (When you modify a
subject record in the authority database please go back to the bibliographic database's
browse index and choose the same subject heading then click on AUT recheck button. It
will induce the system to build up the new connections between the modified Authority
record and the connecting Bibliographic records.)

If it is working in Aleph in the right way, please close both of these cases in Salesforce.

If you find any problems in Primo search please open a new case about it, because Primo
has a different support team who can handle the Primo cases.

Dear Anikó,
I checked the SUO10 000203837 record. It’s ok, but now there are no
necessary links. The term in English [Obstetrics] is not searchable (see the attached
file).
The goal is: users can search by topical term in one language and another.

Dear Irina,

I modified the authority database settings so after that the $$9 subfield is valid in the
1xx fields od the authority database. I modified the SUO10 000203837 record according
to the example you've sent me, and saved the modification, please check it.

Br,
Anikó
