In his lectures on the Psalms, Dr.

John Kleinig provided the class with a document he called Psalms

Course Notes. He more or less followed these class notes in his lectures on the Psalms. I have included a
link to these class notes throughout the lecture notes I took on the Psalms. Since these notes are
valuable to the students attending these lectures, I created a table of contents for the class notes (see
the next page). By looking at them, you can see the big picture of what is being covered in this class and
the page in the class notes of the psalm being discussed.

The lectures being taught by Dr. John Kleinig were recorded and placed on YouTube by some of his
students. Dr. Kleinig was about to retire, so they wanted to record the class so that future generations of
pastors and lay people could benefit from his teaching. This class is a seminary class taught at LCA
(Lutheran Church of Australia). I watched all 25 videos of this class and took copious notes on all of the
lectures (171 pages). I am making these notes available to the public. In a similar vein as with the class
notes, I also created a table of contents for the lecture notes that I took (see two pages below after the
table of contents for the class notes). I created a table of contents for the lecture notes in order to
provide an easy way to see what was covered and what pages to find the notes on the psalms that were
taught. In this table of contents I provide both the page numbers in the lecture notes for each of the
psalms and the page numbers of the class notes provided by Dr. Kleinig.

So I refer to the class notes provided by Dr. Kleinig as the Class Notes and the notes I took as I watched
the lectures as the Lecture Notes. I mention this so that the two sets of notes are not confused.
