a. describe what fault is;


b. give examples of major faults found in the Philippines and neighboring
regions;
c. differentiate between active and inactive faults.

 Review of the past lesson

B. Learning Task
Motivation: The teacher will show a video of San Adreas 2015.

C. Lesson Proper
a. Activity
 Through direct instructions, the teacher will give the activity to the
students about A fault-y setup.
 The students will be group into 6.
 The teacher will facilitate the students in the activity.
 The teacher will score the group based on their performance in
conducting the activity.
b. Analysis
 The following questions will ask to the students:
o As you move the sheets, what is formed in the sand?
o What happens to the lines?

c. Abstraction

 The teacher will ask some students to give the summary of faults.
 The teacher will discuss the lesson to give other informations.
d. Application
 The students will answer the following questions.
o What is the importance of learning about faults?

IV. Assessment

 The students will answer the following questions in a 1 whole sheet of


paper.
o What is fault?
o Give at least one example of the major faults found in the
Philippines.
o What is the difference between active and in active faults?

V. Assignment

 How do Faults produce Quakes?

through listening;
b. analyze the musical elements of vocal and instrumental music from the
visayas through listening; and
c. explore ways of producing sounds on a variety of sources similar to
instruments being studied.
