About the Program
The Live Life Rehabilitation Center, known as the LLRC, is an outpatient
facility designed to increase the quality of life for older adults living with mild to
moderate dementia.

Goals

● To promote a better quality of life through the use of recreation activities


● To promote autonomy and feelings of competence by achieving individual
goals
● To assist participants in developing leisure skills they
may use in their community

Leisure Diagnostic Battery

● Our facility utilizes Version B (short form), specifically worded for adults
● Measures: the client’s perceived leisure competence, perceived leisure control,
depth of involvement in leisure, and their playfulness
● Determines: clients needs, desired outcomes, leisure functioning levels, and areas
they may need improvement on
● The initial assessment will take approximately 20-40 minutes per client
● Research states that the reliability of this assessment tends to be 80% or better.

Tai Chi
Purpose
To promote mindfulness and to create art through movement and meditation.
Program Objectives
TPO 1. To demonstrate the basic concepts of Tai Chi
