 Manage processes related to the development, enhancement, and deletion of programs and
courses, including the Curriculum and Instruction process, the calculation/maintenance of
course fees, and any external accrediting requirements.
 Monitors enrollment and productivity for programs.
 In preparation for specialized accreditation, evaluates and reports regularly on the status of
the curriculum to assure that all required program standards are met,
 Supports new program development activity: conducting surveys, marketing and other tasks.
 Assists with new student orientation and information sessions.
 Develops, collects, monitors, and analyses key performance measures and data related to
program management (e.g., student enrollment and faculty productivity, etc.).
 Evaluates faculty and student feedback, analyzes data and prepares plans for program
improvement.
 Resolves student grade and disciplinary issues, working closely with the Dean, campus
Associate Provosts, faculty advisors, and other personnel.

CONTRACTED ADULT EDUCATOR: PINELLAS COUNTY, 2013-PRESENT


 Contracted to teach weekend and evening adult certification courses for Department of Children
and Families child care training certifications, as needed.
 Proctors exams at varied locations for Department of Children and Families child care training
certifications every quarter.
 Implements lesson plans for adult learners to successfully pass the child care certification exams.

 Worked closely with the Director of the Workforce Institute to pull enrollment reports, maintain
spreadsheets for data requests for the department, and create presentations for meetings, board

 Mapped out projects, monitored progress of projects, and reported completion of projects to
Director and other coordinators.
 Assisted in transitioning grant programs into non-credit certification courses for sustainability
efforts.
 Assisted in creating marketing materials both for distribution and for the online registration system.
 Oversaw the Lumens registration system for noncredit courses, including training personnel who
are users of the system.
 Oversaw State Reporting and FLEID processing for the noncredit side of the college.
 Ran financial reports and assisted in budget oversight for the Workforce Institute Department.
 Supervised Administrative Services Specialists and Assistants and had oversight of their schedules.

 Early Childhood Education Teacher. Also taught Child Development, Parenting Skills, Nutrition &
Wellness, as well as Principles of Food Preparation.
 Managed classroom coverage of both high school and preschool students while assuming regular
classroom responsibilities such as professional development, communications with parents,
assessments of students, and staff meetings.
 Integrated technology into curriculum to supplement class lectures. Utilized Internet for resources
on current events and literature to complement learning activities.

 Served on school committees focused on curriculum development and literacy efforts.

District to receive four National CDA certificates for students in the Early Childhood Program in
2012.
 Sponsored the Florida Future Educators of America club. Attended several state conferences and
competitions.
 Created curriculum maps, end of course exams, and provided trainings in literacy efforts in CTE for
the district as requested.
 Sat on Child Care Joint Advisory Board to discuss issues and make recommendations involving
student retention and recruitment, as well as national credentialing challenges.
