indeed the PRO 10’s Finest……And now, may I have the honor and privilege of
presenting to you selected members of Iligan City Police Office who were properly
trained to face and handle civil disorder and at all times ready to maintain and defend
peace and order….Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the ICPO CDM Contingent
lead by its snappy platoon leader….PSI AUSTIN KARL T. TIROL.

The ICPO CDM Contingent is now on Standby/ Column Formation in preparation to

respond to any call of actions.
The Platoon Leader approaches the grandstand, to request permission to start the
exhibition.
The platoon Leader will now give the Command “Baba takip” to signal the beginning of
the exhibition
The Single Line. The Single Line Formation is a long police barricade formation
purposely established to set limit to the crowd so as no protesters can pass through
their prohibited destination. This is executed to the crowd who are within the state of
control. Ladies and gentlemen, the Single Line Formation
Double Line Formation. The Double Line Formation is executed to support or beef up
the single line formation. This is done when the crowds becomes unruly and start to
push and attack the first line. L and G, The Double Line Formation
Charging – This is a physical and psychological move to peacefully dispersed
particularly unruly or violent crowd.
The Umbrella Formation. It is executed before an unruly crowd who attack or engage
CDM contingents by throwing hard materials. This serves as protection for contingents
from getting harmed or injured.
Single Wedge. The Single Wedge Formation is executed to break into a dance crowd
and to split a long demonstration march into segments. L and G…The Single Wedge
Formation.
Double Wedge Formation – This is executed to penetrate or break the crowd. This is
used only or applied when there is a necessity to behave and or separate a violent
group. L and G…The Double Wedge Formation.
The Arrow Formation. The Arrow Formation is executed to escort VIPs passing through
the crowd. The spearhead of the Arrow Formation is designed to divide the crowd at the
center allowing the VIPs to safely pass through the demonstrators . L and G…The
Arrow Formation.
Box Formation. Is designated to isolate a violent crowd and the eventual arrest of crowd
leaders or those who initiate violence. L and G, the Box Formation.
At this time, the ICPO CDM Contingent is now moving back to column formation.
The Platoon Leader will now command akyattakip to signal the end of exhibition.

Ladies and gentlemen, that concludes the ICPO Presentation on the 8 basic CDM

 The ICPO CDM Contingents through the negotiator, PSI JAMES D. DALEON
tries to negotiate the rallyists by asking their grievances. Together with the
Negotiator is the Legal Officer in the person of Atty. PSI Taha L. Tambog Jr.
 Negotiation Failed
 Nagiging unruly naangmgarallyists but the ICPO CDM Contingent maintained the
exercise of Maximum Tolerance because the respect and always adhere the
human rights as learned through various seminars and schoolings.
 They are moving slowly and surely trying their best to peacefully disperse the
crowd.
 The ICPO CDM Contingent uses policewomen as frontliners because we
recognize that one of the strength of women is to settle things with calm and
patience.
 It can be notice that support elements. The arresting team, monitoring team ,
medical team, swat team, firefighting team and vehicle mobile detention are just
nearby on standby ready to be dispatch at an order.
