Sir/ Ma’am,

With due respect and high regards, I am writing this letter to formally express my
genuine interest to apply in your department as a teacher. Allow me to state some of
my skills and potentials that may qualify me to work.
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Education. Right after graduation, yours
truly took the Licensure Exam for Teachers in elementary major at 2016 and has
successfully hurdled the same. Then, I had to face the rigors of applying for work. While
the latter is true, it never diminishes my dedication to teach. While my application was
still pending, I went back to my hometown and spent a year as a substitute teacher.
Thought the compensation was not commendable to my expenses, I still pursue and
persist in imparting learnings among students with the hope that someday, I may be
able to help those children who are less privileged. This has molded me to become self-
reliant, organized, resourceful, confident, fast learner, flexible, versatile and
accountable individual. This has become my potentials to grow into the field of
education and community mentoring.
Given the present situation in Marawi, I believe that the siege is of no moment
to stop students from learning. And if given a chance, I would be more appreciative for
the opportunity to help the students once more because, truely indeed, education is the
future-hope that the children of Marawi are holding-of at the present.
