In March 2017, the Victorian Environmental
Assessment Council (VEAC) was requested to carry
out a Central West investigation. The investigation
covers public land in the vicinity of the Wombat,
Wellsford, Mount Cole and Pyrenees Range forests.
VEAC is currently inviting written submissions on its
Draft Proposals Paper. Submissions close on Monday
10 December 2018.
VEAC is holding an information session in Trentham:
