INTRODUCTION
Revisit of an Introduction to me
 Set out expectations

Explain that our new topic will be Marketing.

Plickers test – Diagnostic Assessment (mainly to get pre-data for Jake and Griffin). Explain to the students that this
needs to be completed for my own study and that the same test will be taken again later in the topic to see the
level of understanding. Explain that Plickers is an online assessment tool that is confidential and will only be used
by myself for data collection. I will confirm with EM if she would like to use this for her own records.

Students are to then complete this online assessment – remember to bring in iPad and laptop.
 Students are not to be shown the answers as they will be doing the same test again later in the unit.

BODY

Provide hand outs (Intro to Marketing and Target Markets) and go through introduction to Marketing aspect.
Place these in SEQTA for students to have access to.

CONCLUSION

Advise students to read the remainder of the handouts prior to the next lesson so that we can go through them
quickly.

Show students Zeetings and ask if they would like to try this program (an interactive power point in which they
can take notes and ask questions throughout the slide (meaning no one needs to know who asked the questions).
