MODEL PARAGRAPH OF CHARACTERIZATION

Artemis is Zeus’s daughter and goddess of the hunt. She is characterized as being entitled. In the

myth, she demands a bow and arrow from Zeus that is made of silver, even though it "is more difficult to

work with than gold.” (33) Artemis also states, "I need fifty ocean nymphs to sing for me." Artemis

continues to ask for more gifts, even though she does not need them. This illustrates Artemis’s spoiled

and juvenile nature.
