To Whom it may concern,

I was recently sent a letter calling me for Jury service. It would be a serious hardship to comply with this
summons. I am a college student, I work two minimum-wage jobs, and I do not have a driver’s license.
Attending Jury duty would be catastrophic for me, both academically and financially. If I take any time of
of work, I will be unable to pay tuition for the upcoming semester. Further, because I take the bus, I
seriously doubt my ability to arrive on time and return home, especially since I live in Escondido, CA.
One-way travel takes about 1 hour and 44 minutes on weekdays. Finally, the majority of the trip will be
on a bus not covered by my monthly transit pass, meaning I will have to pay extra in order to comply.

Please consider my situation, and excuse me from Jury service.
