Notice for Public Hearing

It is for the information of all concerned that Mining of Sand(Minor Mineral) by M/S Shyam
Jaina Ram, Eatrth Movers & Builders Village Gumar,Tehsil Ganaur, Sonepat, Haryana with
production capacity of 14.35 Lakh TPA (ROM) for sand(Minor Mineral) located at Jainpur
Unit-I, Tehsil & District- Sonepat, Haryana (MLA-38.10 ha) as per TORs issued by the Govt. of
India, Ministry of Environment ,Forest & Climate Change Impact Assessment Division, Indira
Paryavaran Bhavan, Vayu Wing, 3rd floor,Aliganj, Jor Bagh Road, New Delhi, vide letter No.J-
11015/82/2015-IA.II(M) dated 04th June, 2015. The project is covered under the ambit of
Environment Impact Assessment Notification No. S.O. 1533 (E) dated 14th Sep, 2006 issued by
Ministry of Environment & Forest, Govt. of India, New Delhi and thus Environmental Clearance is
mandatory for the proposed project. Accordingly the project proponent has applied to the
concerned authority for Environmental Clearance and the public hearing has been fixed as per
details given below:-

As a part of procedure for seeking the Environmental clearance, as notified by the Ministry of
Environment & Forest, Govt. of India, New Delhi vide Notification No.S.O. 153 (E), dated
14.09.2006, the project proponent mentioned above have applied Mining P oject. Accordingly the
Public Hearing for the above said project has been fixed on 06.10.2015 at 10:00 A.M for the Project
Site mentioned above. Copies of executive summary of the project and EIA study report, submitted
by the project proponent, are available in the Head Office of the Board as well as in the following
offices, which can be perused during office hours, on any working day:-

2 Regional Officer, Sonepat Haryana State Pollution Control Board, Star Complex, Opp.
General Hospital, Delhi Road, Sonepat.
3 O/o Zila Parishad, Sonepat
4 O/o Municipal Council, Sonepat
5 Joint Director/GM, District Industries Centre, District Sonepat.
Notice is hereby given to all concerned to file suggestions, views, comments and objections, if
any, on the proposed project, to the Chairman, Haryana State Pollution Control Board, C-11,
Sector-6, Panchkula as well as Regional Officer, Haryana State Pollution Control Board, Star
Complex, Opp. General Hospital, Delhi Road, Sonepat within 30 days of the publication of this
notice. Besides, a Public Hearing will also be held on the Date, Time & Venue mentioned above
at the proposed site of the project, which can be attended by any person including Environmental
Groups, bonafide residents and others, located at the project site/sites of displacement/sites likely
to be affected. Oral/Written suggestions, if any can also be made during the Public Hearing.

No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the Public Hearing.
