Unit syllabus:

Introduction: Components of a Four Wheeler Automobile – Chassis and Body –

Power Unit –Power Transmission – Rear Wheel Drive, Front Wheel Drive, Four Wheel
Drive – Types of Automobile Engines, Engine Construction, Turbo Charging and Super
Charging – Oil Filters, Oil Pumps – Crank Case Ventilation

Objective:
To make the students learn the basics of automobile Engineering, student can understand the chasses and
the body, Power Transmission, Engine parts and construction and use of the turbo charging and super charging
.Further they can understand the Oil filters, Oil Pumps – Crank case Ventilation.
