S QA Lab Test On feasibility of Rozone LES 1920J in VLO Base 3 Premix.
B Rozone LES 1920J is currently added after achieving premix fineness and requires the following
conditions.
a.) 5 mins mixing at 1000 RPM
b.) Despa must be on while charging latex to prevent seeding.
With these 2 conditions in place, there is still a risk of latex seeding during production. Hence, this
test is done to check on feasibility of incorporating Rozone LES 1920J in premix.

As seen in the table above, Rozone LES 1920J is not soluble in water and even with a 50%
dilution with PG. it still cause seeding.

Bluish tint of premix observed after adding Rozone LES 1920J after AF 309. (see attached photo)

3. Data Collection on premix temperature in production.

[S- 1.) Rozone LES 1920J is not soluble in water hence dilution is impossible to reduce the risk of
R] seeding.
2.) Dilution with PG at 50% still causes seeding with Celvolit 1620.
3.) Initial results of Rozone LES 1920J in VLO Base 3 is within specification and upon storage.
4.) Data collection on production premix temperature shows a maximum of 43.7 deg Celsius with
average premix temperature of 40 deg Celsius.

C 1.) To propose a trial batch with Rozone LES 1920J in premix in VLO Base 2.
2.) To monitor on storage stability.
