The course also deals with the management of the most important resources in an organization – human resources. It surveys contemporary techniques for
managing the corporate human resources functions. The topics include planning, staffing, rewarding, developing, and maintaining organizations, jobs and
people.
Course Description
This course also tackles topics of development of public relations by business enterprise, possible solutions with employees and techniques in handling
adjustments of individuals and groups in business and industry, techniques of motivating and developing of cooperation among employees and executives and
other groups.
This course also deals with problems and techniques of adjustment of individual and groups in business and industry, techniques of motivating and developing
of cooperation among executives and other groups. This course also tackles topics on the development of public relations by business enterprise.
Course Intended Learning At the end of the course the students are expected to:

2. Explain and distinguish the different human resources management functions.
3. Practice ethical and professional values when dealing with personnel concerns.
4. Understand the impact of demographic and social changes in the practice of human resource management.
5. Examine the different strategies in managing diversity.
6. Explore and explain the different assessment center techniques as tools in career planning and development.
7. Identify the different types of mentoring
8. Research and analyze the impact of various government legislation on human resource management.
9. Examine the contributions of HRM to improving productivity to achieve competitiveness
10. Develop contemporary techniques for managing the corporate human resources function

Course Policies English Language will be used as the medium of instruction and communication either written or oral.
Attendance: A student is considered absent if he comes beyond the grace period- 30 minutes for a 3 hour class.
Three is the maximum number of absences.
Any late submission of requirements will not be allowed
