From Yervant
“Have FUN using Page Gallery”

I created Page Gallery for my studio’s use around 1998, I was then overwhelmed with demand from photographer
who wanted to obtain a copy... so I released PG at WPPI 2002 in Las Vegas,
and the response was just overwhelming.
Although photographing weddings has my first and foremost devotion, I have dedicated much
of the rest of my time to further develop Page Gallery.
Page Gallery is now the number one layout software utilized by professional photographers internationally and it is
now being translated into several languages to service a wider world wide demand.
Version 4 is a new evolution in Page Gallery, I have introduced over 50 new features , including Live Screen to
make the software even more fun to use.
I am sure you too will become addicted to it!
Thank you all for your support and belief in my product.
I hope Page Gallery will be one of the best tools you
have invested in for the growth of your business.

Cheers!
Yervant

Must Read

Page 18
Page Gallery
yervant
v4 ™ Help Guide
Must Read
I: When working with Page Gallery, you must keep Photoshop OPEN at all times.
2: Always SAVE your layouts BEFORE clicking the 'Make Pages' command.
3: Each customer's work must be saved in an individually labeled folder to avoid over-writing a file of the same name.
3: Page Gallery uses your existing Photoshop color profile and does not alter it in any way.
4: Do not have TWO versions of Photoshop open at the same time when using Page Gallery.
5: Make sure each job is fully completed before MOVING the folder.
6: Page Gallery allows re-scaling of page sizes within the given ratios.
7: Page Gallery allows you to customize any layout as you wish in Photoshop Layers.
8: Page Gallery is compatible with most album manufacturers sizes worldwide, but make sure you check with your album manufacturer
that the sizes/formats you have used in PG match THEIR specifications.
9: Please ensure that your output from PG matches you lab’s or album manufacturers’ exact specifications and requirements, color
profile, text and any other specification. This is entirely your responsibility as PG is not liable for any mismatch or damage what so ever.
10: I strongly suggest that you FINISH (Retouch, etc) your images before importing them into Page Gallery.
(Also, if you FINISH your images prior to album construction, you will maintain
consistency with any possible re-prints etc of the same image.)
11: Do not bring images straight from camera because it will take much longer to
work on them in PG and will require a lot of computer processing power.

FAQ’s
Q) I can’t seem to get the ‘Show output Page’ to work, if I open a saved album and tick the box, then highlight
a page, the page does not show and I get an error message.
A) This can happen for two reasons: The low res files have been moved or your computer has lost the PATH
for the file. The solution is, locate the folder which contains the ‘Low resolution’ file, and then click on ‘Choose’.

Q) What does this message mean? ‘Page Gallery cannot link to Photoshop’
A) This means that Page Gallery action Groups have not been loaded into Photoshop, or have lost their link to Photoshop.
You must load the two Page Gallery actions into Photoshops active action palette, (one by one).

Q) Why is it that when I go to ‘Make Pages’, the green process bar shows as full but after that it just does not go anywhere?
Photoshop is orange on the tool bar and I get the sRGB color conflict for each image, then an error message comes up.
A) Open Photoshop and open Color Settings, look in the Color Management policies section
and UN-TICK all three boxes.

Q) Does Page Gallery work with Windows 2000?

A) Yes, but Page Gallery does not have tech support for this operating system.

Q) Is there a Catalogue of all these templates?

A) Yes, a PDF file can be requested from www.yervant.com.au/purchase.html

Q) Can I change the layouts or customize it the way I want?

A) Yes, by going back into Photoshop, you can alter anything as it is all in LAYERS.

Q) How about decorative borders?

A) Yes, by going back in Photoshop, you can create any type of layered effect you want
and bring it into Page Gallery. Menu> Album> Open Selected High-Res Images

A) 1 to 26 images (A to Z) can be added to a template, or simply No image at all, just text. Color etc.

Q) Can I make as many pages as I want in an album or are the pages pre-determined?
A) You can make as many as 99 spreads or 188 pages if you want, it’s up to your album maker to be able to bind it.

Q) Why is “DEMO” written across flat files and the Photoshop layers did not make.
A) When running an unregistered copy (in Demo mode), the user can no longer make pages as layered Photoshop files and the text
"DEMO" is printed across the final output pages. Evaluation has ended please register Page Gallery.

Q) Is Page Gallery a big corporation?

A) Nope! Page Gallery is just Yervant & Anie and tech support Peter...and all service with a smile :)
