BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

The schedule of college students is much different from what freshmen students had
when they were in high school. In addition to this, some classroom schedules are not followed
resulting to a flaw in the supposed to be continuous flow of class schedules that may cause
confusion to freshmen students and old students alike. Part-time professors are also affected by
this which may also cause disrupt in their planned schedule for their lectures.
The proposed system aims to assist the students and professors to prevent confusion
and lessen the time consumed during the taking of attendance. With this, the professors will be
able to start the lecture effective immediately and the students will be able to learn more. The
system will also lessen the tardiness of the students and professors alike. Which can help the
students have a brief experience of how the real world after schooling works.
The system will have a website where the users will be able to access their attendance
records and monitor their own behavior. A username and password guarded account will be
given to each users which they can use to access the app.

PRODUCT DETAILS DESCRIPTION


1. Maintainability The system will require updates after every end
of semesters to input new students and/or
update existing student profiles to fit the new
semester.
2. Dependability and Security Changes can only be made by the registrar and
the Admin, which are the only people that can
input new profiles in the system.
3. Efficiency The enrolled students will have easy access to the
app which will serve as their mobile schedule and
attendance monitor.
4. Acceptability The app is easy to use, but will require internet
connection when scanning QRs.
