SECUENCIA DIDÁCTICA

INICIO(12’) TIEMPO

1. El docente ingresa al aula saluda, pregunta a los estudiantes como están y 3’

¿quién es tu mejor amigo?
2. Los estudiantes observan en la pizarra imágenes de gente común con 6’
diferentes características físicas y en grupo responden las siguientes
preguntas:
a. Who is your best friend?
b. What does he/she look like? (tall, short, heavy, Slim, Brown, dark,
blue eyes, etc).
c. What is she/he like? easygoing, outgoing, shy, crazy, organized
3. El docente modela utilizando como modelo las imágenes de gente común 3’
pegadas en la pizarra:
My best friend is ……………..
He/she is slim
He/she is shy
DESARROLLO(70’) TIEMPO

4. Los estudiantes se forman en grupos y el docente entrega a cada 10’

estudiante un texto (ver Anexo 1) y una tabla (ver Anexo 2). Los
estudiantes completan la tabla organizando los adjetivos del texto en
grupos. 5’
5. Los estudiantes verifican sus respuestas con toda la clase y corrigen de ser
necesario. 20’
6. Los estudiantes trabajarán individualmente y redactarán un texto en un
formato entregado por el docente (ver Anexo 3) describiendo a su mejor

 amigo o amiga. Ellos utilizarán la ficha que completaron en grupo
previamente como modelo.
7. El docente monitorea el trabajo de los estudiantes brindando ayuda si es
necesario.
8. Los estudiantes se juntan en parejas y revisan sus textos juntos, realizando 5’
correcciones de ser necesario.
9. Los estudiantes comparan sus textos en parejas diciendo, el docente 20’
modela un ejemplo previamente:
A: Tell me about your best friend
B: My best friend is (name)
A: What is she/he like?
B: My best friend is…..
A: What does she/he look like?
B: My best friend has…. And he/she is …
10. El docente nombra a algunos estudiantes para formular las preguntas y 10’
estudiantes de grupos diferentes deberán contestar las preguntas.

CIERRE(8’) TIEMPO

11. Retroalimentación: El/la docente escribe los errores que pudo identificar
mientras monitoreaba el trabajo de los estudiantes. Le pregunta a la clase 3’
si encuentran algún error en cada una de las oraciones escritas en la
pizarra. Los estudiantes participan y encuentran los errores, se acercan a la
pizarra y los corrigen.

12. Metacognición: 5’
Los estudiante responden voluntariamente a las siguientes preguntas:
a. What can we say about a person’s hair?
b. What can we say about a person’s eyes?
c. What other words can I use to describe a person?
