authorize the Secretary of Labor and Employment or the
Commission, as the case may be, to enforce the same under pain or

for more than five (5) months. Their defiance of the return-
to-work order, it is said, did not last more than a month.
Again, this line of argument must be rejected. It is clear
from the provisions above quoted that from the moment a
worker defies a return-to-work order, he is deemed to have
abandoned his job. It is already in itself knowingly
participating in an illegal act. Otherwise, the worker will
just simply refuse to return to his work and cause a
standstill in the company
