Pak Pandir is a good man but he is very foolish. He always makes a lot of mistakes. His
wife often quarrels with him because Pak Pandir always causes problems for her.
One day, she called Pak Pandir and said “Take this RM500 to the town and buy a good
cow.”
“How does a cow look like?” he asked his wife. “Well, it eat grass and is quite big,” she
said. Pak Pandir set off to the town. On the way, he saw a man cutting the grass along the road
with a sickle. “Ah! This must be the ‘cow’,” he said to himself. “It eats grass”. He spoke to the
man and the man agreed to sell the ‘cow’ for RM500. Pak Pandir took home the sickle thinking
that his wife will praise him. When his wife saw the sickle, she began to cry. Oh! God! Why is
my husband so foolish? Pak Pandir did not know why his wife was criying.
