ABSTRAK

Latar belakang:
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan dukungan
suami dalam pengambilan keputusan Ibu untuk memilih jenis alat kontrasepsi di
Desa Tetel Kecamatan Pengadegan Kabupaten Purbalingga
Metode:Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan
wawancara mendalam terhadap informan. Teknik penetapan informan pada
penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Responden dalam
penelitian ini terdapat 6 ibu akseptor KB di Desa Tetel.

ABSTRACT
Background : Increasing number of Indonesian population and high rates of
maternal mortality and the need for reproductive health , family planning
programs is further used as a way to suppress petumbunah population and
improve the health of mothers and children
Objective : This study aimed to investigate the characteristics and support for
making decisions on Mother's husband in choosing a type of contraceptives in the
village of the District Tetel Pengadegan The Purbalingga
Methods : This study used a qualitative method using depth interviews with
informants . Mechanical determination of informants in a qualitative study using
purposive sampling . Respondents in this study there were six mothers in the
village Tetel acceptors .
Results : The results showed that all the informants had the support of her
husband in the choice of contraception . The biggest endorsement is obtained the
support of the award , while the lowest is the support of information , due to the
lack of information owned by the husband about contraception
Conclusion : Support husband in contraceptive choice is necessary, because the
husband must also play a part on the reproductive health of his wife as well as in
choosing a contraceptive that is safe, effective , convenient , and can be received
by the couple
