Animamundi Walkthrough
Hello there and welcome to my Animamundi walkthrough.  This is the first (and probably only walkthrough I will EVER
do. My reasoning behind doing this is due to the fact that it’s incredibly difficult/frustrating to get all of the endings and
the only walkthrough I could find to help me, while very useful, was incomplete, full of errors and hadn’t been updated
since August of 2006, despite claiming to be a “work in progress”.
However, since I couldn’t have even conceived of this walkthrough without the other’s help, I would like to give full credit –

due to violence and sexual situations before the U.S. release. *grimace* However, if you’re interested in playing an

So, let’s start with some things you need to know before beginning the game:
1) If you do not have enough items in your Alchemist’s Bible, you will not be able to get ANY of the endings listed
below. In my experience, to get successfully past the chapter called “Soup of Life” you must have at least 44
items in your Bible. To get past “A Luminescent Being” you must have at least 55 items & at least 4 of them are
SPECIFIC items. If you don’t have that many, you will get Bad Ending #7B – “A Quiet Corrosion” However, you
probably WANT to get “A Quiet Corrosion” at least once, otherwise you won’t have a complete set of game
pictures in your Gallery. And I don’t know of any other way to get this ending other than a lack of items.
2) If you don’t do Dashwood & Ruthberg’s endings BEFORE doing Mikhail’s Ending #1 you WILL NOT be able to go
back and get them unless you uninstall the game and then reinstall – i.e. Even if you don’t particularly like their
characters, do their stories first. Personally, although I didn’t care for Dashwood at first, he really grew on
me after playing through his story and by the end he was one of my favorite characters. ;-)
3) The worst thing about this game is that the ending you get often has to do with the answers you give in the
VERY FIRST SCENE, which means to get each ending, you basically have to play all the way through every
single time. *sigh* This can get really boring really fast, so be forewarned. Whenever possible I will instruct
you to SAVE YOUR GAME so that you don’t have to repeat EVERYTHING, but there will still be times where
your “SKIP” button will be doing most of the work and you’ll just be sitting there, twiddling your thumbs,
waiting to make the right choice selections. So – BE PREPARED.
4) Once an item is in your Alchemist’s Bible it cannot disappear. The only exception to this rule is at the end of
Mikhail’s Ending #1 – When you’ve completed that story line you will loose any crosses or crowns you’ve obtained
during prior games. The crosses aren’t hard to get back (for the most part) but the crowns are, which is
another reason I recommend ONLY doing Dashwood’s and Ruthberg’s plot lines before you complete Mikhail’s
Ending #1.
5) On saving games – because you’ll be saving games for a variety of reasons and because you can’t change the
name of the saved game I recommend that you reserve each of your three “Saved Game” screens for a
different purpose. Here’s an exa mple - one screen for obtaining items, one screen for saving time between
endings and one screen for saving your game so you can experience all of the Bad Endings without ruining your
real game in the process.
Okay, so, due to the need for items, I’ve put together a mini-walkthrough to help you collect a large number of items
before you begin any particular storyline. With that said, let us begin.
Getting a Bunch of Items Quickly (aka A Quiet Corrosion)

These are also the choices you’ll need for Mikhail’s ED #1 and #2, so as long as
you SAVE when I tell you to , this part won’t be a complete waste of clicking (or reading.)

Ruthberg is just selling THE BOOK OF WITCHCRAFT (which shows up as THE
SATANIC WITCH in your Alchemist’s Bible) & WOLFSBANE; Gennai just has more
SULFUR, so you shouldn’t really have to do anything in this chapter.
Gennai only has METEORITE and Ruthberg doesn’t have anything at all, so the choice
of where to go is entirely up to you here. Also don’t bother searching the mansion – all
you’ll get is more LEAD.
Civil Strife
Research – Obtain PHILOSOPHER’S MERCURY (Must have MERCURY & OPAQUE
FLUORITE)
If this is your first time playing through Animamundi, there shouldn’t be any choices
to make in this chapter. If Paracelsus appears and wants you to pick from a selection
of bottles, then go ahead and pick “E”. After that, save and go back and do

to your saved game to complete Mikhail’s ED #1 and #2. If you do forget, there’s no chance of getting those endings
without uninstalling and reinstalling the game and then starting all over from scratch. (Yes, I’m speaking from experience.)
