There may have been some confusion based on voter ID language in
the Voter Instructions included with mail ballots provided to Gilpin
County voters who do not need to provide an ID. The Clerk Gilpin County
apologizes to all county residents for the confusion and states in clear Clerk & Recorder
terms that no ID is required by the affected Gilpin County voters for Colleen Stewart
