1. SCOPE
2. PURPOSE
2.1 To ensure that all information material, tools equipment, manpower and
supervision are available for execution of the work. In particular that work
steps are analyzed and all safety measures are taken so that work can be
executed in a safe and timely manner.

5. RESPONSIBILITIES
5.1 The Contractor is responsible for the execution / implementation of Tie-in, that all
works are carried out according to applicable safety procedures, project
specifications and specialist recommended procedure.
5.2 The authorized permit holder/signatory shall obtain works permits from the
company and Contractor as appropriate.
5.3 Contractor will supply all free issue piping materials.
8.1 All works permits for the Tie-in works are to be completed and received by
C Authorized Personnel only.
8.2 A specific JHA shall be prepared and reviewed prior to commencing of the
works.
8.3 All access / exit points shall be maintained free from obstacles, materials
equipment, etc.
8.4 Temporary safety signs shall be provided at all work areas, storage areas
and access / exit routes, etc.
8.5 Construction Works shall be co-ordinated at all times and confirmed with
Company.
8.6 All work related to unloading, handling, NDT, painting and piping
installation will be conducted in accordance with Ras Laffan Liquefied
Natural Gas Safety Manual and the relevant EHS Plan.
8.7 Nylon slings, shackles, ropes etc. shall be initially inspected and color
coded prior to use. Third party certificate to be available on site.
8.8 All scaffolding material shall comply with project specification and will be
inspected, approved and tagged by competent persons before being used.
8.9 When working within 6 meter of the operating plant, heavy lift procedure
shall be applied and work permit used. Extreme vigilance shall be
observed when cranes are being operated in the vicinity adjacent to the
operating plant.
8.10 When welding work is being conducted in the operational plant area, a
trained fire watch person shall be maintained at all times. Trained fire
watch shall wear orange vest as identification.
8.11 Sufficient illumination of the work areas, storage areas and access / exit
routes shall be provided while working at night.
8.12 All activities to be immediately suspended in case of an emergency.
Evacuate work area in a safe manner as per emergency evacuation
procedure. Work is to restart upon receipt of approval from Company and
when PTW has been revalidated.
8.13 Ensure that working areas are free from rags, rubbish, tools, wooden
planks, boxes etc.
8.14 The Sub-contractor-Contractor will maintain good housekeeping standards
at all times.

10.1 Conduct walk through of all responsibilities, procedure and safety
requirement
11.0 EQUIPMENT
11.1 All equipment to be utilized during the execution of the branch installation
must be duly inspected and certified.
11.2 Equipment required include:
a) Diesel welding machine
b) 50 ton RT crane
c) Self loading truck
d) Portable hand tools
e) Argon welding set
f) Diesel generator
