• Programming the M68000

• Programming M68000 peripherals
Course Objectives

1. Introduce students to both hardware and software


aspects of microprocessors.
2. Familiarize students to the 16-bit processor and
assembly language.
3. Enable students to carry out microprocessors based
design and applications.
4. Expose students to the use of microprocessor in solving
real life problem.
Learning Outcomes

1. Describe the basic architecture and applications of


microprocessors.
2. Use the basic instruction sets for arithmetic and logical
operations.
3. Develop assembly language programs for microprocessor
based systems.
4. Illustrate the use of interrupt and I/O devices for executing
certain tasks.
5. Design microprocessor based systems interfacing with
external peripherals through I/O devices.

Evaluations are based on the learning outcomes!
