World Missions begins at home. It begins
with being a faithful witness to our family
and folks we meet on a daily basis. What
does a witness do? A witness shares his ex-
perience; what he has seen or knows. A wit-
ness teaches or informs others of what he
understands or has experienced. This is ex-
actly what the Lord has instructed us to do.
A fact is that we cannot force anyone to
become a believer and that is not what our
responsibility is. We are to share the good
news of the gospel; and it is the work of the
Holy Spirit to do the convicting and convert-
ing. A sinner is born again by the power of
the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the life-
giver.
World Missions begins at home, but our
our message is to spread to our neighbors, the
State and entire country and to the far reaches
of the world. So we are commissioned to use
everything at our disposal to take the Gospel
of Jesus Christ to every person. Problem is;
that today we are a :”me” generation. We
have isolated ourselves from others and our
great responsibility to share with them Christ.
This month is the month of our Missions
Celebration at MRBC. In my class we are
making a special effort to reach out to folks in
our community and share the Gospel of
Christ. Let’s all repent of our failures in this
area of our discipleship and obey our Lord.
