 Carryout a pilot project for QP Refinery unit 11 (Crude Distillation unit)
 Based on the results of the pilot project, assess and review QP Refinery
current SAP configuration and identify deficiencies within the existing work
management processes.
 Conducting Conceptual & hands on type training workshop to QP-
Refinery reliability team by using latest version ISOGRAPH.

Hydro skimmer Plant At Ruwais Refinery

Project Scope:
Provision of Asset Strategy Management to create a cost effective maintenance strategy
to address dominant causes of equipment failure and to develop an adequate preventive
maintenance (PM) program for unit-13. Review and update corrosion loops and identify
the dominant damage mechanisms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

preventive maintenance (PM) program for Unit-13 (Catalytic Reforming Unit).

Project Title: Consultancy Services for Wrench Time Study for Plant Maintenance
at Ruwais Refinery

Project Scope:
 Study will be carried out at Hydroskimmer, Hydrocracker, Condensate 02
trains, Offsite (oil movement), Refinery Utilities, Gasoline Units, Green diesel units,
BeAAT, General Utilitiess Plant & Jetty as per crafts and disciplines.
 Carryout the Wrench time study of Maintenance disciplines (Mechanical,
Electrical, Control for each plant and overall for the Refinery and RAS.
 Study shall be fully compliant and according to Best Industrial Practices.
 Provide the COMPANY with the detailed methodology of the process to
be adopted for Studying the wrench time as applicable to the Industry best practice.
 Wrench time to be reported by craft traders and by day/hour/minutes.
 Non Wrench time to be captured using codes in minutes.
 Site visit is mandatory for all bidders before technical bid proposal.
 Based on site visit, CONSULTANT to submit the proposal for resources
required and the project schedule with a break up for all plants.
 CONSULTANT shall submit the project execution site organization with
Supervisory staff.
 Submit the manpower deployment plan to carry out the study for the
plants.

 Based on detailed time motion data captured and statistical analysis,
CONSULTANT to give recommendations for improving wrench time.
 Conduct presentations to middle as well as higher management before
and after the study.
 CONSULTANT to submit the evidence of similar studies carried out by

(minimum one person for a period of one month).

Project Title: Root Cause Analysis (RCA) at Chemanol

Project Scope:
 Need to provide the technical proposal for implementing the RCA study.
 Conduct a walk down of assets and perform a detailed field inspection.
 Should determine the functional failures and technical failures. Need to
document the functional failures and define the failed state for the equipment
operating context.
 Should determine the failure modes or causes of each failure to be found.
Need to document and track in what way the equipment fails, what causes it to fail
and what happens when it fails. Perform and document RCM study.
 Should study the consequences of each failure modes. Faults
classification should be done in: critical, important or tolerable in terms of those
consequences.
 Determination of preventive measures to avoid or mitigate the failures
effects. Need to determine the failure Management policy for each failure mode.
 Need to develop maintenance plan, list of improvements, training plans
and procedures for operation and maintenance. The output of analysis should be:
 List of maintenance tasks to be performed by maintenance personnel at
specified intervals.
 A list of tasks to be performed by operating personnel at specified
intervals.
 A list of redesigns to be considered for implementation.
 Should produce a maintenance schedule that is optimized for the
equipment in its operating context; the aim is to achieve inherent levels of
equipment reliability and availability.
 RCM desktop software should be provided by contractor for recording
the information collected and the decisions made during the RCM process.
