A. Reviewing Previous lesson or Presenting New Lesson


Let the class watch a short video clip on teenage problems.
The teacher will facilitate the answers of the students from the first activity on the
sources of research questions.

B. Discussing New Concepts and Practicing New Skills


Ask the class on their insights on the video clip.

C. Presenting Examples/ Instances of the lesson


Ask the class whether they experience any of the problems encounter by the
teenagers in the video.

Group the students into five , ask them to formulate a “how” or “why” question that
would be the rationale for a qualitative research that they want to conduct. Then
think of possible ways to answer the questions they formulated like conducting a
survey questionnaire, interview or experiment.

F. Generalizations and Abstractions About The Lesson


The lesson provided the students with opportunities to formulate their own research
title and questions, statement of the problem and scope and limitations of their
research. It enhanced collaboration among the students and in so doing, the students
were able to develop the values of camaraderie and selflessness. Finally, it ended by
asking the students to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts by sharing
their output to their group mates.
