DEREK LORING, the smartest kid in his class is one step short of a genius. He is a boy
who pretty much keeps to himself, unless the History teacher makes a mistake. So, it
comes as something of a surprise when the teacher takes the class on a field trip to the
Rosicrucian Museum of Egyptology and asks him about a particular statue from ancient
Egypt. Derek halts in front of the huge statue. He is stumped for the first time. He has
never heard about this one. "A Pharaoh from the eighteenth dynasty", his teacher says.
The statue is that of a giant man, his face and unclothed body are grotesquely elongated,
his ears unnaturally long and his eyes and lips, several inches thick. A unique style of
Egyptian art? or was this his true appearance? Derek just stares up at the giant figure in
astonishment and awe.

THE OLDER DEREK LORING, NOW AN ARCHITECTURAL HISTORIAN AND

ARCHAEOLOGIST gives several lectures at the Universities and graduate schools,
attended by enough students to enhance his reputation as a teacher. He undertakes a
research project in Egypt, after being confronted by Joshua Claridge, a representative of
Zozer International, a corrupt power cartel with an ancient origin. "The full particulars of
the project will be explained at the interview, and your fee will be negotiated if you decide
to take on the job.", says Mr. Claridge.

HE CHECKS INTO HIS HOTEL IN LONDON and takes a breather at the bar. Several
people seem to be overly curious about his business there. And then, he runs into Gwen,
an attractive young waitress who hands him a slip of paper that reads: "Meet me in room
212, in 1 hour. There is something you should know about Zozer." Derek knocks on the
door. Gwen is dressed in a very revealing night gown. She makes him a drink and tells
him all about Zozer and the danger he will be facing if he agrees to take on his research
project. Gwen ends up wooing Derek, she's always been attracted to archaeologists. In
the morning, Derek wakes up next to a bloody corpse. Someone entered into the
apartment and murdered Gwen, in some obscene ritualistic manner.

INSPECTOR CRIMMINS, SUSPECTS LORING AT FIRST. Loring explains to him that

he just arrived in London on a business trip. "Do you normally accept commissions from
people you don't know?", Crimmins asks. "I did not accept the job, inspector." "Well, It
sounds like Zozer has to have some connection with Gwen's death.", Crimmins says.
Their is a hole in Gwen's forehead the size of a baseball and red and blue paint around her
neck. He instructs Loring to go to the Zozer meeting like nothing out of the ordinary has
happened and report back to him. "You do this for us and we will see to it that not only
are you protected, but informed every step of the way.", Crimmins says.

LORING MEETS JOSHUA CLARIDGE AT THE ZOZER OFFICE along with several
other Zozer members. Brian Tupps, president. Dorian MacIvor, Vice President and
George Wells, treasurer. They explain to him their intent. They want Loring to trace the
lineage of Sadat as far back as 1400 B.C. They believe the assassination was motivated by
a vendetta and they want Loring to uncover any evidence which might support this theory.
"We accept only those clients who are unable to obtain the information through their own
efforts and resources," says Wells. At first, Loring turns the job down. "You need a
private detective not a historian." Until they offer him the fee; $100,000. Wells tells him
they uncovered some unknown facts regarding Sadat and will turn their files over to him if
he decides to go along. They have hit a wall in their research and must further investigate
into ancient Egyptian buildings and records to trace one remote branch of Sadat's family.
They need him to research a name back beyond 1400 B.C., all the way back to
Amenhotep. "I still think you need a detective", Loring says. "No detective has your
expertise in Ancient Egypt. You are the best.", Wells says.

LORING CONSULTS WITH INSPECTOR CRIMMINS ABOUT ZOZER. He tells

Crimmins that Zozer claims to have a client, who wants the total biographical background
on one of its former rulers, something to do with national security and he must go to
Africa to search out what ancient records he can find. This could lead him back to the
early days of civilization, to a man called Amenhotep. Inspector Crimmons did his
homework on Zozer. He found nothing concrete on Tupps or MacIvor, but the CIA has a
file on Wells. He was tied into an operation in Instanbul, about four years ago. A political
assassination. But they never busted him. Crimmins can't find anything incriminating on
Wells or the Zozer outfit. He believes that Zozer might be sincere, with only Wells having
a hidden agenda.

CRIMMINS TAKES LORING TO MEET GEOFFREY HOPKINS WITH THE CIA.

Hopkins tells him they have been on Zozer for a long time. Zozer was working with
Hitler during the war. Hitler was obsessed with collecting ancient relics that are said to
hold awesome power and Zozer did the research for him. Zozer is a product of The Nazi
Occult Bureau. "Whatever they want you to find, it must be important, maybe an ancient
relic of some kind." Hopkins says. Hopkins tells Loring to continue his work with Zozer
and decides he will send over his best operative who will accompany him to Egypt as a
translator. "We have been waiting a long time for this and we can't get very far without

you."

NADIA SHEPHARD STANDS IN THE DOORWAY. She is the translator the CIA sends
over and she is gorgeous. Derek pours her a drink and unlocks the briefcase containing
the Zozer file. Nadia discovers that if Zozer wants him to do research as far back as 1400
B.C., something must have stopped them or prevented them from doing it themselves.
There must have been a big event taking place about that time.

Loring discovers there was a big event...In 1367 B.C., Egypt got a new Pharaoh. He was
Amenhotop IV and his wife, Nefertiti. Amenhotep was a strange, deformed man who
pushed for a monotheistic religion. He worshipped the old Aton, the solar disc,
represented by a disc with long rays extending from it. On the end of each ray was a huge
hand. He even changed his name to Akhunaton to show his affinity with this god. He
abandoned the old ways of the ancient gods, and forced the people and his court to follow
the new deity. Akhunaton built a new city, Akhetaton, which today is call El Amarna, and
he moved the capital there. He was also responsible for a new form of art and culture.

According to Loring's knowledge of history, Akhunaton was not too healthy and died in
1350 B.C. He must have been a lousy administrator because he lost some of the lands
Tutmoses III had won by conquest. He shared the throne with Nefertiti, but when he died,
the crown was taken over by Tutankhamon who demolished the city of El Amarna, erasing
all traces of the new religion. He took the capital back to Memphis and had the memory
of Akhunaton vilified. There is not much left of El Amarna. It is part of the official ruins
of Egypt about halfway between Luxor and Cairo. If Zozer's people completed their
research as far back as Tut's time, with Amarna destroyed, they would have to stop. There
could be nothing prior to Akhunaton. Everything was destroyed or lost.

AT ZOZER INTERNATIONAL, Wells, MacIvor and Tupps sit at a conference table

discussing the details of their plans. Wells is the one in charge. "Our converts in the
Vatican are well placed. When we kill the Pope, one of our people will take over. We
need to swing the Catholics over to our side, too. They're the stumbling block to our
control of Western Christianity. When we have control of the Christians, "Operation
Amon" will start. That's the way the ancient prophecies will be fulfilled." Brian Tupps
disagrees with Wells' killing and is afraid that Loring might defect. "He's just an
archaeologist. He'll do the job and take his pay.", Wells says. "And the girl, Find the bitch
and kill her, she's CIA".

ANOTHER MURDER. THIS TIME IT'S BRIAN TUPPS. Crimmins finds that the
murder is connected to Gwen's in that the same type of weapon was used. A spear or rod
of some sort was thrusted into his forehead in some strange ritual using red and blue paint.

An autopsy indicates that both their pineal glands had been removed. Because of her past
history with Zozer, Nadia Shepard shows up in Loring's room in complete disguise. New
hair, new eyes; the whole works. Crimmins introduces her as Carol Ashworth. "Ms.
Ashworth will be meeting you in Cairo. Get used to calling her that."

LORING AND CAROL VISIT THE EGYPTIAN GALLERY IN THE BRITISH

MUSEUM, Loring visits his old friend, Foster Gibbs, the curator of the Egyptian exhibit.
Gibbs takes him down into the basement chambers of the vast museum and into the
Egyptian room. Gibbs directs him to the catalogued material of the Amarna period; boxes
of shards, rolls of papyrus, a few sculptures and stone carvings. Then he sees the papyrus
scrolls; accounts of the actual construction of the new city of Akhetaton, and plans on the
construction of the Temple of Aton, the sun disc deity of Akhunaton. It was the only
temple in Egypt that was an open-air structure. With it, he finds a cartouche of the queen,
Nefertiti. Nefertiti herself was the scribe. The pharaoh was entrusting the rule of the city
to his queen while he traveled elsewhere to attend other matters. This was a great find.
Everyone believed that Akhunaton had always remained in the city, ruled for his few
remaining years, then died and Tutankhamon took over the throne. But this scroll reveals
a temple that has not yet been discovered. An open-air structure where Nefertiti ruled
when the king was gone. "I have a few doubts about the truth of accepted history", Loring
said.

CRIMMINS INTRODUCES LORING TO RON MENEFEE, his arranged ride to Cairo.

Ron tells him he knows some facts about Akhunaton, but he does not know everything.
He says he was a great man, very enlightened for his day. His enemies were from the old
ones, the black priests who wanted Egypt to return to polytheism and human sacrifices to
their god, Amon, and to bring back slavery. Akhunaton came in and stopped them. "Some
believe that he came from another world to help the launch of our civilization out of dark
times.", Ron says. Loring looks at him like he is crazy. "Look, I'm just an Egyptian who
believes that Akhunaton could have changed the course of Egyptian history if he hadn't
been killed by the old ones", Ron says.

Loring presses him for more facts because he originally believed that Akhunaton died
from some disease, a crippling form of arthritis. All his statues show him to be disfigured
and misshapen, but Ron tells him he disappeared, and no one really knows what happened
to his body, and the statues; there are very few left, most of them defaced and destroyed by
King Tut when he took the thrown. He also says, there is something about his appearance
that was very strange; even Nefertiti's and his three daughters had the same deformity.
Evidently they all had the same disease. Ron tells Loring he is positive the truth about
Zozer and their connection to Akhunaton is in Amarna. "It's all there. Find a wall leading
to a Temple of Aton. King Tut, renown for ages by the discovery of his rich tomb, was
only a puppet of the old ones. Find the wall and be careful of Zozer."

LORING TAKES REST AT THE MENA HOUSE HOTEL IN EGYPT, where Zozer has
provided him a suite with a terrace overlooking the southwestern horizon and view of the
pyramids. The CIA keeps a close eye on Loring. Loring checks his watch and goes down
to the pool. A gorgeous woman is swimming. It's Nadia, as Carol Ashworth, Canadian
Egyptologist. She starts to drown. Faking it, Loring jumps in after her. They meet,
knowing they are fully being watched by Zozer and the CIA. They casually go to the bar
for a drink and pretend to meet for the first time. Loring hires her for the job as his
translator. He receives a message from Crimmins. There was another pineal gland
murder. Crimmins found a name that may have some importance in the case, Salome
Selim. She left Sidon for Cairo in July, 1886, and the man she was to meet there was
Amin Salazar, a medical scientist.

IN THE HOTEL ROOM SUITE, Carol checks for hidden microphones, while Loring
pretends to get acquainted. He tells her about the research he was to do in Amarna and
keeps it strictly business and she agrees to help him as a translator. As she suspected, she
finds a small microphone in the air duct and points at it. He gestures her over to the
bathroom and turns on the shower to muffle their conversation. They take off their clothes
and get in. It is hard for Loring to think with this beautiful woman in the shower with
him. He tells her about his conversation with Ron Menefee and fills her in about
Akhunaton. "I came across a papyrus plan of the city of Akhetaton. It indicates a wall,
like the one Ron talks about. It leads from Amarna to the river. The next move Zozer
expects him to do is arrange to meet with a man named Yamani, for help in gathering the
supplies for their excavation." Carol tells him to contact him for the needed supplies, as it
would be the most natural thing to do. "We'll need to see the archives at the Egyptian
Museum. There will be more on Amarna and Akhunaton there.", she says. That's enough
talk, because they are both getting hot, hot for each other. Their business meeting in the
shower has just turned into something else. "I think the arrangements will be quite
satisfactory", she says. "Oh yes, quite" he says, as he makes steamy love to her.

CAROL AND LORING MEET IMIN NASHTOI, THE CURATOR OF THE EGYPTIAN
MUSEUM IN TAHRIR SQUARE. He mentions that several men were asking the same
questions recently, Americans, Germans, mostly military men, but he did not show them
anything. He escorts Loring and Carol to the basement and the archive section of the
museum. He takes them into the vaults that house more valuable parts of the Amarna
collection. Pointing to one of the chambers, he says, "This is what I think you might be
looking for." The door closes behind them and he turns on the lights. There are figures
with strange elongated heads and wide hips, resembling something like a freak show.
Carol is shocked, "My god! What are these things?" "Relics from ancient Egypt."

Nashtoi says. "Take a good look at all of them, especially this one. That statue, there.
Horrible and unearthly isn't it. And here, is his daughter, Meritaton." Carol comments, "I
suppose they didn't actually look like that. Those artists, I mean, they had a strange style,
didn't they Derek?" "Not during this era.", he says. What it all means, they don't know,
but it looks like most of the time they wore tall crowns to hide their long heads. They find
something else peculiar; A statue of a dark man in a royal headdress, with a normal shaped
skull. He was not familiar to either of them.

NASHTOI LEAVES THEM ALONE IN THE ROOM, to let them put their minds to good
use. They search the scrolls of papyrus from the period around 1355 B.C. It's a good thing
Carol was there, because the hieratic writing was difficult for Loring to read. One of the
scrolls described the departure of the king from Akhetaton, the original name of the city
which was translated later in history as Amarna. It stated that the gods from the old day
were rising against the Aton disc. Loring and Carol believed the Aton disc, was the sun or
solar deity until they came across a scroll that states the Aton disc gleamed of silver in the
night sky. It had to be something else! Something that appeared in the night and the day.

BACK IN THE MUSEUM OFFICE, Dr. Nashtoi brings tea and sits them down.
"Akhunaton was an enlightened God-King who came on the stage of history far too soon.
Kemet, as Egypt was called in those days, was not ready for him, any more than was the
rest of the civilized world. When he took over the throne, he began a period of religious
and cultural revolution in Egypt. Honesty seems to have been a hallmark of the Aton
period and Akhunaton paraded in the nude freely along with his daughters. He abolished
slavery and human sacrifices to gods. He ignored the old god Amon and his priests, and
began the cult of the sun disk, the Aton. He demanded that Aton was the one god and
destroyed and desecrated all the temples of the old gods, including Amon, the main god of
the dynasty. He had the word "Amon" hacked out of every inscription. For some reason,
he was trying to remove any record of Amon from history." Loring discovers that there
was a group who supported Akhunaton and tried to stop the revolt of Amon's priests. This
group was called the Menefee. Nashtoi tells them it is not certain what became of
Akhunaton's mummy. Neither Nefertiti's, Akhunaton's or Queen Tiy's bodies were ever
found, they just vanished along with the entire Menefee consisting of thousands of people.
King Tutankhaton, the new pharaoh, brought up himself as an Aton worshipper, was
forced to change his name to Tutankhamon by Amon's priests and they made sure all
traces of Akhunaton were erased and destroyed the city.

Loring believes that Zozer is a modern extension of the Amon priests, and they could want
more than just a relic, They are planning something else. Perhaps total control of Egypt.
Maybe even bringing Egypt back to the way of the Old Kingdom. The Kingdom of
Amon.

AFTER DITCHING ZOZER SPIES THEY MAKE IT TO THE U.S. EMBASSY. Where
they are briefed by Hopkins. He found more on Zozer, a lot more. He discovers what is
meant by "Operation Amon" from a cryptic code that keeps appearing in the files...the
number 666. He believes that "Operation Amon" is actually a battle. According to the
Bible it's the battle where God finally comes in and takes over the world and rules it the
way it should have been ruled. According to the old one's, God was Amon. He also found
out that Zozer has a certain relic in their possession. They retrieved a spear from a secret
vault beneath the Nurenberg Fortress at the very moment when Adolf Hitler took his own
life in the OHL Bunker in Berlin. This was the spear that pierced the side of Christ at the
crucifixion. The "Spear of Longinus". "Whether or not, this spear has any real power is a
mystery." Hopkins says.

CRIMMINS FINDS NEW EVIDENCE ON SALOME SELIM. She was a woman who
married a man named Amin Salazar who did work for Zozer. There was a police report
filed concerning a murder in a place called El Dab'a, a small fishing village near Matruh
on the seacoast. Salome Selim was found dead one morning, Amin and his kids were
nowhere to be found. This wouldn't normally be an item for the Cairo records except for
the method of death-ritualistically with the pineal gland removed by some strange spear or
instrument. This time the weapon left fragments of metal. Rusted metal, about two
thousand years old.

THEY MEET UP WITH YAMANI AND THEY PACK UP THE LAND ROVER FOR
THE EXCAVATION. They outsmart Yamami, lose him and take off with the truck. As
Loring looks through some old scrolls from the museum, he discovers a mark that he can't
translate. Carol takes a look at it. It reads that the Aton disc could look back toward the
wall from its final resting place. If Aton looked back, it could see Amarna to the east
across the Nile. "That's the wall we have to find," Loring says. It should lead straight to
the Temple of Aton. They camp out in the middle of nowhere, and during the night Loring
sees something in the night sky he has never seen before. A bright light, like a silver disc
streaking across the sky toward the cliffs. Then it hits him. He wakes up Carol. "The Aton
disc is something that appears in the day and night sky, and it is a solar disc that looks
over the wall at it's resting place, the temple of Aton. What if it's a UFO? Carol can't
believe what he is saying. "Nashtoi did say it was believed that Akhunaton was a God-
King from another world.", Loring says. Carol refuses to accept this preposterous idea.

THE ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY TALKS TO HOPKINS AND CRIMMINS. The

Archbishop believes that Zozer may be after a "doomsday book", The footnotes of Satan.

This book reveals a precious stone called Lapsis Excellis which is an alchemical symbol
for the pineal gland. "The purpose of this romance with the spear, is to use it to remove
the pineal glands, while the victim is still alive and open or activate this "pineal eye" to a
vision of hidden secrets of time and the meaning of human destiny. It is a very old custom
in the black arts. Whoever is doing this may be actually prolonging his life by the use of
these pineal eyes". The Archbishop had more...a possible picture of this black magician.
"We traced the lineage of all who possessed the Spear of Longinus. Constantine wielded
the powers of the Spear for power during battle. Then this man, Kingsor, had it in his
possession, until he died and it changed into the hands of this man, Landulf II of Capua."
The pictures of them were identical. It was the same man. It was also the man who's
statue was in the basement of the museum earlier.

The Archbishop believes this man is Amon. "The hidden" one of Ancient Egypt. The
influence of this man in Ancient Egypt and on the events of the ninth century was
enormous and there is no doubt that he was the central figure in all the evil of the time.
His magical rites, involved horrible sexual perversions and human sacrifices. He wielded
the Spear of Longinus during battles between the Christian knights and their adversaries.
"We believe he plans to wield this spear during a final battle. The battle of Armageddon!"

CAROL AND LORING MAKE A STOP IN EL DAB'A BEFORE HEADING OVER TO

AMARNA. Loring turns the Land Rover toward the harbor, hoping to find some evidence
of civilization near the water. He brakes at the water's edge and sees a very old man
squatting on the pier. "Where is everybody?", Loring asks the man. "All are in there
homes waiting for the desert wind to stop. The desert is taking back this place. Soon,
there will be no Dab'a", the man says. Loring finds out that the man has lived here all his
life and asks him if he knows what happened to Amin Salazar and his family many years
ago. The man steps back, shocked. "The Aton disc took him. This has been occurring for
thousands of years. It appears at night and is as bright as the sun. It's hands of light reach
down and take those it wishes. After a sighting of the disc, the old ones come and raid the
village." "The old ones?", Loring asks. "The priests of Amon, they killed his wife and
kids." Loring asks him about the Menefee. "The Menefee are not to be spoken of within
the limits of El Dab'a. The old ones have eyes and ears everywhere. "What happened to
the Menefee?" Loring asks. The man trembles, "They too, were taken by the Aton disc.
All of them, in seconds, right before they were to be attacked by the priests of Amon.
Loring and Carol discuss their finds as they leave for Amarna. As they drive through the
town of El Dab'a, hundreds of people come out of there homes holding clubs and
weapons. They are afraid for their lives and yelling things about the Aton disc.
Something scared the living shit out of these people and it looks like some strange scene
from the ancient days. "Murderers! You brought back the Aton disc to continue their
killings. Tell your disc to leave us alone!"

CLARIDGE TURNS AGAINST ZOZER and reveals their plans to Hopkins. "On

December 31, 1999 Operation Amon Starts. There will be riots and assassinations of
religious leaders all over the western world. Wells believes he is the reincarnation of a
long-dead Third Dynasty Pharaoh and is ready to fulfill the prophecies of Armageddon.
The riots are only the first phase. Amin Salazar was a man who designed an instrument
for Zozer that could be used to implant surveillance ID microchips into a human being.
Hopkins shows Claridge the evidence about the man who has been around a very long
time. Claridge does not know the man but tells him he believes there is someone else
behind Zozer, pushing the buttons, and it is not Wells. Whoever it is has gone into hiding
and uses Zozer as the face he shows to the world. He plans to live out the prophecies in
the Bible; "In the final events it says that the world will be ruled for seven years by a One
World Government headed by a tyrant known as the Antichrist. The Bible says that this
tyrant will demand worship and proclaim himself as the world's savior. Everyone will be
accessible by a small microchip implanted under their skin. This is what they call the
"mark". The mark of the Beast.

LORING AND CAROL ARRIVE IN AMARNA AT AN OLD EXCAVATION SIGHT.

They unload the truck and pitch a tent. After running into a bit of a problem with
crocodiles, they search through their scrolls and discover that the temple had to be on
higher ground as protection from the flood tide of river. "It says here, some ceremonies
held in the temple, required the gods to come from the river with their attendants. It's
most likely filled with centuries of sand", Carol says. They camp for the night and during
a romantic moment, Carol looks up at the sky. This time she sees the disc. It streaks
across the night sky leaving a rainbow of colors across the stars and settling down near the
cliffs. She finally believes.

LORING AND CAROL BEGIN THEIR EXCAVATION. They know they are looking for
a wall. A wall that should lead straight into the Temple of Aton. He goes on hunch, in the
direction he saw the disc go last night. He stumbles on a rock and digs away the sand and
finds a stone pier. Then another one. It is a wall. After several hours of excavation they
come across an inscription. Carol translates it; It was Akhunaton declaring that it was the
god himself that had told him to locate the city here and that there is none other that
knows thee save thy son, Akhunaton. "A Hymn to Aten", and it does associate the god
with the Sun.", Carol says. "But the hypothesis that the god was the sun does not entirely
make sense", Loring says. "Before Akhunaton came along, there was already the Sungod,
Amon-Ra. If Akhunaton's idea was simply to establish a totally new god and associate
himself with the deity to gain supreme power, why choose a symbol that was already
claimed by a long-established god? If Akhunaton literally thought of Aton as the Sun,
why, in his hymn, does he say: "there is no other that knows thee save thy son,
Akhunaton? Surely, every other Egyptian with eyes to see was well aware of the solar orb
that brought warmth, light and life to the Earth."

Loring and Carol follow the wall and it leads to a far away cliff. "Of course the cliff! The

Temple must be on the other side", he says. They climb up to the top and find a stone
door. Loring leans against it and it rotates. They enter the other side of the cliff and find
the Temple of Aton looking over the entire city of Akhetaton. The Temple is beautiful and
astounding. It is an open-air structure and it is still in tact and has not been exposed to
harsh conditions and mutilation. In the center of the temple is a large platform. Its shape
indicates it is a landing pad for a large round craft. Loring looks down at the city reciting
the quote; "The Aton disc could look back toward the wall from its final resting place over
the city of Akhetaton." Carol gets the door open to the Temple. Inside they find the
remains of Akhunaton partially covered by sand and rock debris. His skeleton is 14 feet
tall and has an unusually elongated head. The bones which once formed a hand, are still
clutching a thin roll of papyrus. Carol picks up the scroll and reads it:

We intervened in your affairs to keep you from annihilating yourselves, so life here would
continue to provide a playground for your experiences. In order to do this an outside
lineage to the throne had to be established and I became your first God-king. I gave you
the image of the sun to bring you back to a single religion where there is only one god.
But one by one you persecuted those who reached out to help you, or you made statues of
them and twisted or perverted their words for your own designs. Instead of applying their
teachings, many of you ended up worshipping the teachers. I came to assist you during
dark times.

In a passageway underneath the temple, Loring comes across more statues of deformed
figures and then he finds a black book. He opens it. He gives it to Carol to translate. The
more she reads it the more disturbed she becomes. This was no ordinary commentary but
the work of somebody who had achieved more than a working knowledge of the black

of the dead. According to the book, it's owner used mummification to trap and direct the
dead's life-force, as an action of evil of unimaginable scope and viciousness. And this was
allowed to continue for thousands of years. She turns the book to the first page and on it
is written: Property of Amon.

WELLS ARRIVES AT THE TEMPLE and takes his prize. "Give me the book, it has been
part of the legends of this land from earliest times, back to the reign of Pharaoh Zozer. I
gave the people new hope, a promise to return them to their former status, feared by all. I
have an army now, an army willing to die for me, and thousands more waiting to be called
to join this elite group. In a few weeks, my "Operation Amon" will start and no one will
prevent me from taking over this land under godly kingship. All who oppose me will be
wiped from the face of the Earth." Luckily Carol and Loring get away in the truck, after a
dangerous chase with Zozer, they barely make it to the American Embassy with their lives.
Claridge and Hopkins are there to help them. Claridge tells Hopkins that Zozer killed
Tupps because he was about to leak information.

They find new evidence on the relationship between Hitler and Amon. Hopkin's shows
them several quotes by Hitler referring to a man that he met. "The Superman is living
amongst us now! He is here!... I have seen the new man... I was afraid of him." "I stood
alone and trembling before the hovering form of the Superman...Intrepid and cruel. In
holy awe, I offered my soul as a vessel of his will." Hopkins is deeply troubled by all this.
"This black book is a collection of black arts that this "superman" has learned over
thousands of years. I'm afraid to think what the emergence of such a black magician could
mean for the world at large."

LORING, CLARIDGE AND CRIMMONS BREAK INTO ZOZER INTERNATIONAL

HEADQUARTERS. They are determined to find the book and destroy it. They are
caught by Well's black priests and are taken to underground caverns near the Zozer
Stepped Pyramid. Wells confronts the men and explains his entire plan. "The riots have
started. Athens, Instanbul, Rome and Beirut are helpless, trapped in chaos by their own
fears. Next is Europe and America. It is ordained that our Egypt return to the all powerful
arms of Amon, after being so long in the clutches of false gods. Very soon now, the true
god will return and lead Kemet to the highest of heights and as the new pharaoh, and I will
be ready for my leap toward immortality."

RELIGIOUS GROUPS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD MEET. Twelve clerics who
represent all major Christian denominations, the Islamic sects and Judaism. Theirs was
mission of the utmost importance and urgency, called together by one of the world leaders,
His Holiness, the Pope. The assembly includes emissaries from the Archbishop of
Canterbury, The World Council of Churches, The Germanic Synod of Lutherans and
Rabbi Moshe Gosloff of Jerusalem. They discuss the havoc that the riots have caused
within the communities. The archbishop informs them that the riots are being caused by a
group of extremists who plan to topple the government of Egypt-"to wage a war like we
have never seen." "We believe the beast is real. The Americans found evidence that there
is a man who could far outstrip the terrible prophecies associated with Armageddon. A
man who could inspire a satanic reign of terror and cold-blooded butchery; savagery and
bestial cruelty as we near the millennium", says the archbishop. Rabbi Moshe Gosloff
intervenes: "Whatever differences we here might have in the dogmas of our faiths, those
differences do not warrant the wholesale slaughter of mankind. Let us now unite and take
up the sword of retribution against our mutual foe."

ZOZER INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS BLOWS UP. The entire building is

destroyed, killing all inside, including Wells. CIA gets word that is was the religious
leaders who are responsible. They aren't sure if Loring is alive and don't know who has
this "doomsday book" that Zozer was after. Hopkins calls in more CIA to begin a search
and seek out this Amon, if he really does exists.

THE PRIESTS OF AMON TAKE CLARIDGE AND LORING TO THE TEMPLE OF
ATON. They are tied up on the landing platform and reunited with Carol who is already
there and ready to be sacrificed. And then, they meet him, a diminutive figure with a
hunch back, huge disproportionately long arms, that give him a look of a surrealistic toad.
His face is the same as in the statue and in the pictures of Landulf and Kingsor. It is
Amon. He is wearing a single white crown of ancient Egypt and holding the Spear of
Longinus. "You have stuck your head in matters that don't concern you. Organized
religion has segregated your society for thousands of years. You are as blind as your were
two thousand years ago. It should not be difficult to resurrect the age-old hatreds you
people have toward one another. And now I will show them a real holy war and make
them quake with fear from the wrath of the Beast." Amon holds up the spear at Carol's
head. The black priests gather around. "She is a whore under the watchful eye of Amon,
her punishment will be by the spear. I will kill you right before your false god. Their is
no Aton to save you." Before he gets a chance to thrust it into her head, a silvery disc
appears above them with an ear-splitting roar of engines. It's the Aton disc. It hovers over
the landing pad and emits a bright light that consumes Amon and his spear and takes him
up into the hull. The ship raises and then shoots across the sky leaving a beautiful streak
of rainbows in its wake. U.S. Troopers arrive at the scene and rescue Loring and Carol
from the priests. In the end, Loring romances Carol to a bottle of wine on top of the Great
Pyramid. One of the stars in the sky, sparkles and then streaks across the sky. Loring
decides to take on a new project; "Say, who do you think built these pyramids?"
