INTRODUCTION
In this report, we have presented analysis & recommendations based on the interview
taken by us. First, we asked some questions to get the answers for identification of
problems which are prevailing in the business and further analyzed those problems to
make recommendations.
OBJECTIVES
The following are the objectives behind this study:
To analyze the current problems in the business & make recommendations likewise.
To know about the basic structure of the business & inspiration.
METHODOLOGY
This report is based on Conceptual study. Data we’ve collected is qualitative data and
the sample size of our study is one. We’ve prepared a set of questions which has open
ended questions which we have asked to the owner of the bakery to seek answers &
find out the problems. We’ve analyzed the answers given by the owner & analyzed the
problems to make recommendations likewise. We have also identified three products,
out of which one will be selected on the basis of RCDCC & RCPGI model to be started by
the company in order to increase profits & expand business. (Refer Appendix 1 for
Questionnaire & Answers)
ANALYSIS
We’ve analyzed that they have not marketed themselves on right platforms and target
customers are also not the young hearts. They are targeting people randomly which is
resulting in lesser popularity of the bakery.
Also, they are not focusing on the uniqueness or a USB of their bakery & are imitating
the products which are already being made by other bakers or competitors.
FINDINGS
From the above answers given by the L’AMore, we have come up with the following
problems:
2). They haven’t marketed themselves enough to become the one stop shop for dessert
seekers.
3). It is located in remote location in Surat where people aren’t in the culture of having
desserts on daily or frequent basis.
4). No promotional offers are being provided to the customers to retain them and to
attract new customers.
CONCLUSION
There is a lot of scope in the market of Surat for confectionary. If Cake L’AMore will opt
for boost in social media marketing, then they will surely be able to reach to the target
market and attain popularity.
Bakeries mostly become famous either by developing a new product or by having the
best maintained quality. Cake L’AMore is providing the best quality but they lake in
product innovation. If they come up with a new product in market, they’ll surely gain
popularity.
RECOMMENDATIONS
1). They should consider some new products to be added to their product line.
2). They should consider opening new outlet in the main areas of Surat.
3). They also need to focus more on capturing young people through their marketing.
4). They should conduct market research and also study their competitors to learn from
their weakness and make decisions likewise.

She thought she has more opportunities in business rather than working under
someone.
She has done her graduation in b.com and bakery diploma in lavonne academy of baking
science and baking arts.
We bake cookies, pastries, cupcakes, bars, muffins, jar-cakes, breads, donuts, etc.
Q. 5. How long have you been in business? In this business? In other businesses?
She is her own boss as well as she has full control and decision making power in her
business.
She had a passion for baking so from very early age and was waiting for the correct time
to enter into this field.
Q. 9. How did you get the background and skills necessary to run this type of business?
She has done her bakery diploma course in lavonne academy of baking science and
baking arts.
Q. 10. Do you know who your competitors are?

Q. 12. Where do you see your business in the next coming years?
They have planned to capture geographical boundaries of Surat and nearby places as
well as to come up with outlets in Surat.
Q. 13. Do you plan to compete in the global market place? If yes, how? If no, why not?
As of now, they have no such plans as they have newly started so they are taking baby
steps and making their journey stronger at an early stage as their major objective is to
establish themselves in Surat.
Q. 14. How has technology, such as computers and the internet, impacted on how you
conduct business?
Our major source of marketing is social media only so they have a very high impact of
internet on their business.
She was inspired by her mentor Mr. Vinesh Khurana and Mrs. Prakshi.
Through their profits, they invest their money for further development of their business.
Q. 18. Does your business have a stated mission statement, the reason that this
business exists?
Their vision is to provide a family friendly place where customers can make a delicious
and meaningful connection with their friends, family and community.
Q. 22. What are the biggest issues for running this business?
To establish the brand as a renowned and well known name amongst the people of
Surat.
The learnings from this interview is that always follow your passion and never stop
dreaming.
