WE RISE, was a two week pop-up art exhibition and community
organizing festival produced on behalf of the Los Angeles Country
Department of Mental Health Services, in partnership with Los
Angeles Unified School District, Los Angeles County Office of
Education and other partners to bring expand awareness and to
invigorate energy for Mental Health Awareness Week.

INTO ACTION, was a large scale pop-up art exhibition, cultural
gathering and community organizing action hub in Los Angeles featured
hundreds of inspiring works of art and 85+ hours of live performances,
symposiums/panels, and workshops with guests such as John Legend,
Bryan Stevenson, The Black Eye Peas, Carmen Perez, Rosario Dawson,
Van Jones, Piper Perabo, Harry Belafonte and beyond.
INTO ACTION earned top tier national press, millions of social media
shares, collected 30,000+ emails/phone numbers and employed
hundreds of creative professionals including dozens of second chance
employees.
INTO ACTION featured an open call with a selection jury that included
Shepard Fairey, Ann Philbin (Hammer Museum), Rita Gonzalez (LACMA),
Susan Herman (ACLU), Naima E. Keith (CAAM), Cecile Richards (Planned
Parenthood) and many more.

#Cut50, was produced by seasoned youth and cultural organizers
TaskForce, BigBowl of Ideas, Soze, 1215 Creative and several
other high-profile youth and arts partners.

Produced in collaboration with Redu – which insists “Every child
deserves a great education” – TaskForce developed Re:Form
School, a group art exhibition, event series and awareness
campaign aimed at reforming the public-school system. The
project, which opened to the public in October 2010, enjoyed
sponsorships from Bing and the CAA Foundation; community
support from Rock the Vote, Urban Arts Partnership and Make
Something! (among others); and further support from forward
looking entities like ComicCon New York, Etsy, Street Attack
and KarmaLoop.com.
