Character Design Project

For this project, you will create an original makeup and costume design for your
character. Please follow the directions and see the rubric below.

Your character designs should…


 clearly represent your character’s time period, status, age, and personality.
 be functional for performance, meaning that design does not hinder the actor’s
ability to move or see.
 demonstrate use of basic theatrical makeup techniques.
 demonstrate overall thought, creativity, and effort.
 include a 1pg double spaced explanation of each design, explaining your creative
choices and relating them to your character development.
