ASSESSMENT 1

 Intermediate Results and Achievements

Developing Modules
For the 3 Avicenna Centres which we start working with since 2010, we planned to develop 36
online modules of 20 hours each. As per today, November 23, 2011, we have only 28 modules
still under development and not yet completed, and their status is as follows:
- In only a few modules, we can see much effort have been made, however they still need
some technical and organizational improvement
- Some modules have been put online as Power Point presentations, which is not sufficient
as these still need to be developed as explained
- The majority of modules are just a title and an introduction to the subject

We would like to highlight that it is fundamental to ensure the completion of all 36 modules (12
modules for each centre) by 10th of December, or at least upload what has been produced by each
developer.

The modules are part of the intermediate results of AVCI project. Only the completed modules
will be accredited by the Scientific Council of the Avicenna network.

Local Trainings:
One of the requirements in the Avicenna project is to duplicate trainings inside the university to
build capacities of more developers. We are aware that a few training workshops have been
organised in the 3 Avicenna centres for the teachers. We should know the number of local
workshops organised in each AVCI centre and the number of participants.

Please, fill the attached table and send it back to us as soon as possible.
Thank you very much in advance.
