We “marked up” the digraphs by underlining them in the First graders practiced modeling numbers as ten and some
words we wrote. We were digraph detectives! Practice the more, completing number bonds, drawing pictures, and
digraph sounds at home with the Fundations helper words: writing number sentences to represent their work. We noticed
how number sentences can be written in two ways to show
two parts that make a whole (i.e. 10+5=15 and 15=10+5).
