The lesson was about the story the red riding hood. The student will recognize the stranger in the story. I
let student to make pattern activity, and color the health food, and the student make Lila mask letter A.

Who is the lesson for?
Where did the lesson take place?
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson?
What did the students do?
The lesson was for pre-kinder student and the activities for the all level. The lesson was in the classroom
in the circle area. And the whole activity was in the front of the class. I make sure all student knows how
is the stranger and I use board to do the circle activity letter a in the board. They learn in the center how
to make pattern by looking at the image, I let the student make mask of the little girl.

How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
How well did you engage the students?

The student asked me question that showed me they were learning and understand what I was teaching
them. I try to connected the lesson to the theme by asking them who is the stranger in the story. I
engaged the student by using pop-up book to make them interest.

Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?
My lesson meets my goals because in the end of the class most of them know how Lila and the stranger
and grand mother. And the student was doing the activities well and they asked me about the ant which
show me that they understand the lesson. I assess my student in the end.

What are the implications for your professional practice?
In the future I will use puppet while I read the story for student, make more challenging activates for the
student because the high level student was finish the activity fast. I will improve my classroom
management by using stamp to mange the student behavior.
